WOW WOW WOW!
Absolutely blown away! We travelled to Vegas from the UK for Wrestlemania and our youngest brothers 21st birthday as he’s a massive WWE fan. Our brother has been going through a rough time recently, as soon as Dexter from guest services found out about this he did everything he possibly could to make sure his trip was extra special. Dexter even went as far as going to the WWE store and having some merchandise of his favourite superstar John Cena waiting in the room for him as we arrived. The hotel itself is unbelievable, there’s that much going on you could spend your full holiday there without leaving the front door. Lots to do for everyone, very clean and in a great location. Would highly recommend resorts world to anyone looking to stay in Vegas and again want to say a huge thank you to Dexter, you played a massive part in making our brothers 21st so special. Resorts world is very lucky to have someone that cares so much about their guests as much as you do.

Happening resort
We drove and parked in the self parking area. Got to the elevator to the lobby. Was a long walk to the reception counter. We reached around 4.00 pm. There were about 9 or 10 people ahead of us. Being an hilton honors member after around 10 or 15 minutes our turn came to check in. Since my data was available in the system we were checked in quickly. We were given some small bottles of drinking water and were told if more were needed, we could always collect from reception. We took our cards and went up the elevator to our room. The hotel lobby and walkway was quite impressive and so was the room, but somehow the wow effect was missing. Anyway, room was grand and so was the bathroom. Had the basic amenities. As the hotel is part of resorts world there were lot of eating options on the main floor. As the hotel was on the north part of the strip, walking to the center took some time. We did manage very well going to the center of the strip near ceasars and also walked to the Sphere. Overall a good hotel to stay.

Resorts World Conrad
Pros: I must give some love to the staff: Everyone I encountered, from taxi callers to reception to housekeeping to pool attendants, were friendly and tried to go the extra mile. I love the pool, though the hours fluctuate. It’s fairly easy to find a lounge chair with shade. If you don’t feel like spending $30+/pp for breakfast at Junior’s, there’s a more reasonably priced place next to it that has delicious breakfast sandwiches. Our room was airy and spacious and cleaned daily. No soaking tub, but there’s a hand-held nozzle and a rain shower in the ceiling. I appreciated the empty mini fridge for our drinks and leftovers. Some might say the location is undesirable, but the Peppermill, Tacos El Gordo, and a well-stocked Walgreens are a five-minute walk away. Cons: Daily resort fees are absurd. The hotel is almost too big for its own good. Without convention-goers, it would feel deserted. The “mall” is a joke. There are a lot of high-end restaurants that don’t seem to do a lot of business. Other than breakfast, we dined elsewhere. I don’t gamble but friends who do said they’ve had better luck at other casinos. Take that as you will. Overall, Conrad at Resorts World is a good choice, though not the finest in town.

Do Not Bother Going Here…
…unless you want to get ANNOYED while on vacation. (1) To start off, the pools close at 6:00 pm in April during spring break. (2) The floor leading from the elevator to our room was drenched in marijuana odor. (3) We were given $50 food credit to use at 1 of 3 restaurants: one opened at 10pm, and another did not accept children - we are a family with two teens. That left only one option which was Juniors and not a favorite in my family since we could get that back home. (4) The bathroom in our room smelled like a wet dog. (5) The carpet was not vacuumed well because I stepped on an earring which did not belong to me and a piece of random wicker both of which almost pierced my foot. (6) We were upgraded online at booking to a room with a Vegas strip view but were given one that looked right at Circus Circus hotel…not the strip as promised. (7) When these issues were brought up to Layla at the front desk she had the WORST customer service. First we went to the concierge and we were told by the concierge to ask for the manager. When I went up to Layla, a representative at the counter, I asked for the manager, but she refused to get the manager saying she needed to know what the problem was. I explained the problems to her and she still refused…saying that our upgrade was already given…it was not. As for the restaurants, she had no clue about what was open and what was not. I asked her again to speak to a manager…she refused. Not ONCE did she apologize for the our discontent and dissatisfaction with the hotel. In fact she did not even look at me but kept typing into the computer ‘notes’. Customer Service…NOT HERE! Bottom line: if you are traveling with a family…AVOID THIS PLACE. If you have any respect for yourself and value where and how you spend your money AVOID THIS PLACE. If you want to peacefully enjoy your vacation and swim after 6pm on vacation in 90 degree weather…AVOID THIS PLACE. IMO the glitz and glam is a cover up for the lack of care and respect they have for their customers. If you just want to gamble and drink and enjoy a subpar small casino off the strip…then this may be where you should go. If you are anyone else…go to where you will be happy…like Elara. And definitely go to Shang Artisan noodles - off the strip but well worth it!!

Horrible customer service
We had a horrible experience from check in to check out. Upon check in, we were told that the room card creating system was down so they could not give us a room key. We were instructed to download a room key on our phone, which also did not work. We then had to wait in a super long line at the front desk again to tell them this, to which they shrugged and told us to come back later. No offer of a free drink, or for someone to bring us to our room (isn't this standard for hotels?). We loitered around the lobby for 15 minutes then went back to the front desk and asked if someone could bring us to our room. They sent us to the bell stand and said a bellhop could bring us up. We get to the bell stand and the bellhops tell us that is against their policy. We argued with them and they finally let us up. Repeat this cycle over and over and over because the hotel was NEVER able to give us a functioning key for our room during our entire stay. Each time we were told by the front desk to have the bellhop let us upstairs and each time the bellhop was insanely rude. If they had communicated with each other, this could have been resolved. Finally, my friend called customer service and asked to speak with a manager, and the manager accused us of lying about this issue because the front desk had not put any notes in our record to indicate that this issue was happening, and was clearly making no effort to fix it despite several assurances that they were still working on our key and would get it to us ASAP. Will never stay here again.
