This place is a dump. Heat did not work in room 509 and it was cold!!! Very shady characters hanging out in front of the building. Definitely not a place to take your wife/girlfriend or kids..................................................................................................................

Not safe for your family! Disgusting Facilities and Stolen Watch!
I always expect where ever I stay in Atlantic City to be sketchy, but this was definitely not a place to take your family. We booked a non smoking room, but the entire hallway reeked of smoke and weed. Drug addicts were hanging around outside the building and in the hotel lobby. The room itself was filthy and I don't think they cleaned the bedding, just remade the bed. We had a privacy tag hanging on the door and I'm pretty sure housekeeping STOLE an apple watch after entering the room without permission. The AC wasn't working so the room was unbelievable hot. The second night, our room key wasn't working and we thought maybe we got the room number wrong. We tried the room next door and it worked, but it opened an occupied room! This terrified me that anyone could just walk into our room and we placed a chair against the door overnight. There were also "regulars" loitering around the hotel that made me concerned about the safety of my family.

Horrible place with horrible employees, especially property manager
Horrible place to go, run down, didn't have heat throughout the whole building, no breakfast, said they'd refund me my last night and didn't, stingy people, says they have amenities they don't, beds are uncomfortable and blankets are itchy, 0 stars if I could

nightmarish, to say the least!!
the pillows were fluffy but i woke up as if they was a dagger in my back due to the mattress. the place, formerly a gem, was falling apart and they claimed to be making an attempt at renovating it. the clerks had limited competency in english and were overly aggressive, which made it temper producing to try to communicate with them about billing issues. using hotels.com and other discount computer websites can be overly complicated just to save a few bucks, so beware. marijuana smoke in non-smoking rooms and roaches as well. we switched the room 3 times and finally got one which was at least tolerable. go to the travelodge down the street to the west with the pool. it's cleaner and had friendlier guests. this place resembled a penitentiary. dangerous wiring was sticking out of sockets, lights, electric fixtures and has been like that for years. broken glass was all over the parking lot. i even wrote to the mayor of absecon!

Wyndham Diamond Rewards member who will NEVER enter Travelodge Absecon Atlantic City again. again.
Staff that barely spoke poor English. A master key card finally unlocked a third attempted room on 3rd floor, of which a room card was subsequently not provided. Already dark out, only one light worked in room, not the switch near door. Everything else was unplugged with cords on the floor (lights, TV, clock, etc). Soaking wet carpet across back of room. Light musty smell. Morning light revealed a 6" mushroom growing through stained wet carpet. Pics attached. New low for gauging room preparedness.
