What a great, tropical hotel
Ocean - the best of both worlds! In particular, I want to compliment and thank Polo for his quality service and kindness. We enjoyed talking with him for a few minutes - he is a wonderful employee and you should be thankful he's a team member!

FANTASTIC Customer Service!
This resort is under construction so just beware that your room may not be top notch. However, the customer service definitely exceeded expectations! My husband forgot his winter coat in the closet. After a text or 2, we received his coat in the mail less than a week later! I was convinced it was a goner. THANK YOU so much!

New Renovations are Excellent!
I have just returned from San Diego and the Catamaran Resort Hotel. Readers will remember that I have nothing but praise for this establishment. That will continue! A new feature is that most of the rooms have been refurbished,giving a more modern look to Rooms that some have commented as being dated,worn or tired. I never subscribed to that as I liked the familiarity of my surroundings. No Matter! Management has responded to the view that modernization was critical and the new decor is just fantastic! The reason that I return several times a year is,as many readers know by now is the staff. They ALWAYS HAVE MADE ME FEEL AT HOME ! They work VERY HARD to ensure that the guest receives the best value for their money and I cannot compliment them sufficiently. Once again, a VERY lengthy list of those that have ALWAYS made sure that I would wish to return: Jim Chester{GM} Scott{Director of Guest Services} Roberto{Front Office Manager} Hitomi{Assistant Front Office Manager}. The Front Office Supervisors: HANNAH !!!!- You see,I put you first!!!, Cynthia,Jenny and Leslie as well as Joanne,Ryan,Kimberly,Randy,Sarah{welcome aboard !}Mayra and Nicole. The Concierge,Bell and Valet Services- Freddy and Edgar{Supervisors} Mick{Thank You as Always!!!}Michael,Greg,Arturo,Parker,Pascual,Augusto,Alan and Aidan-Thank You! The Food Service Division-Managers-Jessica,Chris,Glen as well as Vicki and Gabby,not to mention Emma,Aliah[hope I spelled it correctly!}Alessandra,Danny,Greta,Dan,Jenny,Santi,Glen,Jessa,Sara,Iza,Jamison,Matt,Tyler,Hernandez,Leopoldo,Brad,Ellie,Jen,Hanah,Charles,Ron,Lily<Ariel,Morgan,Pedro,Nadia,and Ariana.From Banquets-Soledad,Tony and Eduardo. Phenomenal
Came down to San Diego for a wedding with some friends. The hotel is under quite a bit of construction but we had a nice quiet room by the pool. Hannah checked us in and greeted us everyday we were there. Oceana restaurant was quality if you enjoy sea food. All staff we encountered were friendly and if we had more time, the hotel has a lot of amenities to enjoy. The weather was beautiful and the hotel sits right on the bay. There are a lot of food options and things to do nearby.
