Worse resort ever
The food is not varied. It doesn't have international food, only typical Dominican food. There is no room service. Everything is paid for.The air conditioning in the room does not cool enough. They say that it is like that, the fridge or the little fritch, it does not cool the beer, it only keeps it a little cold, but that is not enough. We had two rooms, one of them had a broken safe, the bathroom keys were broken and did not work, we also did not have ham, the towel was put in on time but one of the rooms had a small damaged free which we reported and they never came to fix it. In restaurants that require reservations, if you arrive 5 minutes late, your reservation is cancelled and they won't let you in and treat you very badly.En el restaurante La carta que logré entrar, no te sirve nada la carta ellos ya lo tienen todo cocinado y te lo van trayendo In the restaurant La Carte that I managed to get into, they don't serve you anything on the menu, they have everything already cooked and they bring it to you in little pieces. The first thing they bring you is the rice and you eat it by yourself because 30 minutes later a little piece of sausage comes along. Then comes a little piece of steak that is cooked the way they want it, they don't ask if you want it well cooked or not cooked, it's just how it is. it's a nonsense. They don't have any entertainment. The beach area doesn't have any pool entertainment, and there's no music. It's a dull, boring hotel. I don't recommend it.Finally, the children's and adult play area, such as billiards, has to pay for anything, nothing is free, everything has to be paid for separately to use it.

Extremely disappointed
Unfortunately, until now, this review could have been a 5 star. We had an amazing welcoming by Rose, and a few other people have made the stay enjoyable but I’m extremely disappointed at the treatment I just received at the buffet. We have a one year old baby and just came back from the hospital and haven’t eaten since noon, so we got back to the hotel right at 10:00pm, and the receptionist mentioned we still have until 10:30pm to get food. While I understand there are other spots opened 24hrs, we chose to enter the buffet to get food for us all including the baby. From the minute we entered, we were told that they were closing, we all hurried to get a small plate, and not even drinks were offered, not one Coca Cola or juice (time still 10:15pm). I am feeding my baby, and barely any time to eat, when the lady comes and takes the other plates away and asks me why am I still eating. I looked at her confused because it was still 10:25pm and we’ve clearly had a day. She went around to the other tables who are also still eating, and comes back to me and says Still eating??? And then at this point I’m upset because how rude is that??? I am extremely upset at the lack of compassion, and zero sense of customer service! It’s super sad to see how one person can ruin a family vacation. Up until this point, I don’t think I can recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Will be making a post about the pros and cos, but this has left a horrible taste and it will be really hard to erase, compared to our previous visits to Punta Cana at Melia and Palladium were we received only the best and very best service. This event happened January 13th at 10:15pm at the buffet restaurant.

Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I ( 15 pax), stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. I was told there are around 1000 staff members working in this hotel so I can't mention them all. They all are happy hard working people that made our stay even better. As a former hospitality worker, I know the effort it takes. Went to the Fogo Restaurant and "Santo" (amongst others), took really good care of us. Gracias por todo.

Great staff and service with a beautiful beach
Beautiful resort with very hardworking staff, especially Francisco every morning at breakfast. He always goes above and beyond to make sure our family is very well taken care of and makes the start of our day wonderful. We were always very happy to see him. Carlos as well, no matter how busy the buffet or restaurant may be he always tends to everyone with the utmost attention and smile. The beach is very well kept and the grounds crew works very hard in the morning to make sure everything is perfect. We are a family of six, they’re are lot of activities for our four kids. Beach volleyball all day, basketball courts, tennis courts, ping pong, not to mention the splash pad / small water park area for our 6 year old, plus the obvious pools and gorgeous beach. Would definitely encourage everyone to visit.

Never again in my life
I have mixed reviews about this hotel. Beautiful hotel with lovely views. Wifi is atrocious. I had NO Wifi WHATSOEVER in my room. When I was out my room, the wifi would come then drop most times. The food was mediocre, especially in the restaurants, the food market actually had slightly better food. Majority of the staff were lovely and I was made to feel welcome except on my last night. I went to get a drink after dinner and when I approached the bar near the beach, the bartender looked at my breasts (which was covered but no bra), then looked at me while licking his lips. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life and I felt disgusted. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Women should be able to walk around in public without being made to feel like a piece of meat by predatory men. I did not get the name of this bartender but it happened at 8th Jan approx 8pm. You are constantly getting disturbed by private sales men on the beach and around the hotel, you cannot go there to fully unwind without being coerced into buying/booking something. Despite this, there is only ONE member of staff that stood out to us and we loved her. Franschisa (probably incorrect spelling) who was worked near the bar and lunch area near the pool. She honestly deserves a raise and a 5 star review. But due to other distributing factors I had to rate this hotel poorly.
