    Early check in deception

    We checked in at 1:30 no mention was ever given to paying an early check in fee. When we checked out of the 3 rooms that we booked we were charged an extra $11.38. We went to the front desk and inquired about the fee. We were told it was an early check-in fee. At no time were we ever told that we would be charged the extra money. Caesars is putting this on the bill in hopes that we would never realize that it was on the bill. We asked the supervisor to remove the charges from the bill and we were told that we checked in early and would have to pay it. We would have waited. Not good Caesars.

    Terrible Experience & Dishonest Management - Read Review for Details

    For this review, I would like to first begin by telling my story before concluding my judgement. My fiancé and I happen to share the same birthday and as such and especially due to the covid-19 there were only so many options; so Atlantic City, NJ it was. I did some bit of research and looking at the reviews I settled for Cesar's Palace. I was hoping to really have a great and special experience and thus got some few family members to join in and I paid the below price for two days: 1 Room King Size bed (Non-Smoking) - 2 nights $692.12 Taxes $104.84 = $796.96 (Room 2618) Deluxe Room 2 Double Beds - 2 Nights $413.12 Taxes $66.82 = $479.94 (Room 4306) Total 2 rooms 2 Nights = $1,276.90 So, I get to Cesar's Palace and my fiancé and I have the room 2618, we check in and head to our room. The whole floor was smelling nasty and the room was filled with smoke smell - it was so horrendous to the extent that we could not even stand being there. To confirm that we were not being overly sensitive, we decided to go and check the other room occupied by our family. Upon getting there, the floor was very clean and the room had no hint of any smoking smell. Based on that comparison, we immediately decided that me and my fiancé would not be sleeping in the room they gave us (please note it was also the most expensive room) Heading to the front desk, we explained our situation and they determined that they would NOT switch our room - we tried our best to even talk to the manager to no avail. So, as a whole family we decided we were not going to stay there and we returned the keys and notified the manager we were leaving. Please note, we had driven for over 4hrs to get to Atlantic City and by the time we made this decision it was 11:30pm at night. I was lucky enough to get some rooms at the Sheraton (which is non-smoking) for the first night ($350.00 for 2 rooms) and the 2nd night we switched over to Ocean Casino Resort ($884.00 for 2 rooms) and so incurred a total of $1,234.00. After the mini-vacation, I tried to get my money back from Cesar's palace but it seems that the whole institutions is made up of liars. I have been told that I did stay there for the 2 nights and I did check out and thus no refund - on top of it all I did get an additional $54 dollar charge on each of the rooms the second day. I have receipts showing that I paid for the other hotels but this does not seem to matter. Apparently, my family was in two places at the same time. Its very disappointing when one realizes that you are dealing with an untrustworthy institution which is greedy and will do anything to steal from the American citizens - it's a damning shame. In conclusion, just avoid this place. The management is not honest, the rooms are horrendous and thus its not worth your money. They may have stolen my money but I am glad that they never stole my fiancés and I special day - it was a blessing in disguise to have not slept there because at this point am somewhat sure it was going to be the worst experience ever. Sheraton came through by having a last minute booking with rooms which were better than Cesar's Palace and of course Ocean Casino Resort provided that special experience that my family was looking for - the views are to die for. The end.

    No houskeeping

    We were just at Caesars for a five night stay, needless to say there were problems with this trip. Having been there just a few weeks before we wondered what changed. Upon check in we were told there would be no housekeeping, said to put towels on the floor outside the room and they would be replaced. Talked to housekeeping ask if we were to put towels on floor for replacement, nodded yes. Ok this sounded weird but we tried. Nope no towels, at this point we helped ourselves to towels from housekeeping's cart. Next day we tried again, talked to a different housekeeping staff member, said we needed to call housekeeping for fresh towels, wait, what? She is standing there with a cart full of towels and we need to call housekeeping, needless to say it was help ourselves time again from the housekeeping cart. Upon check in we were told because of Covid, well Covid was there three weeks ago to and we got full service. Seems to me this may be more of a cost cutting measure. Needless to say we won't return until things are normal. Room was cleaned and supposedly sanitized upon arrival.

    Good to be back

    Great to be back to this beautiful place. The room is clean and the shower is to die for. The food and services are excellent, specially at the seven stars lounge. There’s a lot of restaurants that is nearby and a lot to choose from. I will highly recommend this hotel.

    Noisy room, bad sleep quality, AC reeks of cigarette smell

    Stayed at Ocean tower. Midnight when trying to get some rest, the next door guests talked loudly and banged on the walls. An hour later, guests on the other side had loud phone conversation. Sleep quality is pretty bad as a result. AC reeks of cigarette smell. Borgata or Ocean is way better than this hotel IMO.
