Stinky, broken AND uncomfortable.
I don't need princess level bedding with 1000 thread count sheets but there is a basic level of comfort for such an expensive space. Sleep and bed quality should be #1. The pillows are lumpy and poor quality at best and the bed is hard. There was NO bedspread and the blanket was like a hospital issued blanket, super thin, so, the most important part of the stay, the bed, was basically junk. I asked for another blanket so they gave us a second one. Both blankets together were like one poor blanket. Overall, it was a low quality sleep experience. The water from the sink had a very strong sulfur smell so I had to use the $3.50 bottle of water to brush my teeth. The shower pressure is not adjustable and crazy high, not good high, like, it sprays everywhere and wastes tons of water. If you want a painful power wash or carwash type shower experience then you've come to the right place. If you wan to take a bath instead then the bath tub filler is, strangely, slow, AND there is no way to plug the tub without getting creative with a plastic bag. The antique integral tub plug likely failed long ago so taking a general bath was a challenge and required me to get my makeshift MacGyver skills with a glass and plastic bag just to force a relaxing bathing experience.

Not Great!
I had trouble with Check; my room wasn't ready at Check-In time I had trouble with the internet, as usual. It always goes up and down. It's not reliable at all. A THIEF stole from my room (my fault cause I left my door open a crack while loading my car). But obviously there are sketchy people trolling guests at the hotel. BE CAREFUL!

Find another hotel
These pictures are deceiving. This was not a hotel by any means. It was a motel. Everything was disconnected. The front staff did not tell us anything (that there was a fitness center and cafe). Nothing was up to date. I honestly felt like a fugitive on the run in the room we stayed in. Way overpriced for the room we got.

Customer Service
We have stayed at The Best Western Seven Seas a few times and last weekend I left my AirPods. My husband called and left several messages as no one was available to talk. In his message he told them what happened and where to find them. The manager finally called after three days and said that housekeeping hadn’t had a chance to look but she would go herself. Now it’s been 5 days and no response. Customer service is not what you get here.

Lots of space and the warmest pool ever!
My wife and I really enjoyed a three-night stay at this real gem of a hotel. The rooms are spacious and have allt he conveniences and the very extensive grounds are very clean and well-maintained. A real surprise, however, was the fact that their main swimming pool is possibly the warmest you will ever experience; for Valentine’s Day I think the pool temperature was probably about 82 degrees, which was real joy during the cool evening. The adjacent jacuzzi was equally impressive, not just for its warmth but multiple layers (upper body and lower body) of jets. The location of this facility, near the eastern end of Hotel Circle Drive, is ideal. You leave the grounds, enter eastbound Interstate 8 and almost immediately can be going south down Route 163 to Balboa Park, or north up Route 163 to Mission Valley Mall with lots of shops and a great food court and nearby impressive Civita Park (terraced gardens impressively overlooking the San Diego area) . The staff here are very friendly and professional. This very large resort is in very high demand each year around college graduation weekends. Try a mid-week or off-season stay here and you will really come to enjoy this wonderful hotel.
