Hotel is in need of a complete renovation! Not worth the money!
I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago so I speak from experience when I say the hotel needs a major renovation! The staff were friendly but the hotel is not worth the money. The musty smell in the rooms is very unpleasant and overpowering. The carpet, which desperately needs to be replaced had a damp feel to it if you walked on it barefoot, which I do not recommend. The carpet was fraying in spots and along the hallway it was separating from the wall. The furniture needs to be replaced. I don’t think the chair in our room has been cleaned in the 5 years since we were there last. There was a small love seat in the living room area which was much too small. There was only 1 chair in the balcony. The rooms used to have a dishwasher and kitchen items ( silverware, dishes and cups) but these are gone now. There is a microwave and fridge. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned very well as evidenced by the debris left under the sink counter. The pool deck had boards with screws sticking out of them and there were wooden deck boards that felt spongy when you walked on them. There were not enough umbrellas available around the pool deck to provide enough opportunities to sit in the shade. The trash can closest to the gate leading to the beach was overflowing for the first two days of our stay. The morning we were packing up to leave we heard a dog barking in a room down the hall from us which lasted for about 1.5 hours. The hotel is labeled as non- smoking but there were plenty of people smoking poolside and many times while walking down the hall to our room the marijuana smell was very strong. If I had been able to get a refund on my 6 night stay I would have and found better accommodations elsewhere.

Great location - highly recommend for families!
Cute, no frills hotel with amazing views, spacious rooms & great, kind staff. It might not be the newest or updated place, but we found it perfect for the casual laid-back vacation we were looking for with our family of 4! We had a 2-bedroom suite & it was so much space - ideal for 2 adults & two teens. Beach & pool both easy to access & the staff couldn't have been nicer!!!! We're already planning a trip back to NSB and will very likely stay here again!

Don't stay here unless you like to be berated and pay for it
I am a BW Gold member and have been going to this BW NSB location for decades. I arrived on a quiet (non busy) Weekday morning. Went to front desk and Asst Mgr Ahmad Bourbour came out of his office. I politely asked for a parking pass, since I knew check-in was not till 4. He rudely told me I could not get parking pass until I check-in at 4. Told him I do not want a room now, just a parking pass, since I am paying $23/day for one. He rudely told me again I cannot have one. Treated me like a piece of trash that blew in from the street. He wanted me to pay at another lot, even though I am paying $23/day to park here. The parking lot was virtually Empty! I have Never had an issue getting a pass before check-in before. I left extremely frustrated. After checking into room, the plastic table on outside balcony was smashed to pieces and trash strewn around. There were not any coffee cups in room. Thermostat was falling off wall. Paint was peeling off walls in bathroom. Plastic vertical blind slats in room and bedroom were falling off. Only light in Kitchen was not operational. Elevator was Not working and had to walk up 5 flights of stairs multiple times. This location wants you to pay an additional $25 to check in before 4, even if room is all ready for you. Everyone tries to check in at the same time and the only working elevator is way over run and have to wait long time to try to get on. What kind of business model is this?? After this run in with this so called Asst manager, I will Never stay at this NSB location again. He should not be in the hospitality business, maybe a good prison warden. The regular front desk lady was nice, along with the maintenance men. I actually felt sorry for the maintenance men, having to work with this Mgr and trying/waiting to get their carts into the only working elevator You lost a good customer. My next call will be to BW Corp.

Oceans views and dumpster vibes
Needs major updating. Hotel staff is very rude and would have open arguments in the elevator with guest. Cleaning crew riding in elevators with bags of trash stinking the place up. Furniture is uncomfortable. Our bed was literally broken and caved in on one side. Great views and location but would never stay here again.

You get what you pay for!
You get what you pay for! Cheapest stay on the beach...with a great location, but would not stay there again. Hotel furniture and rooms are dated, which I don't mind, but it did not feel clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff in restaurant was very nice.
