Very comfortable and pleasant stay
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Winter Park. The staff was very courteous and welcoming, and the hotel was very well-maintained. We were traveling with our dog, and the "pet room" was newly renovated and appropriately outfitted for a pet stay. While this hotel appears to be older, it has been wonderfully updated.

Good location, service and value
Good location close to the ski resort. Friendly staff was helpful. Dog friendly. Good value. Free parking. Good breakfast variety. Unfortunately, there's no fitness room but suppposedly you can get free coupons to the nearby recreation center. Will come again

An In at the INN
Try experiencing a more cozy, friendly inn and I'll bet you can't find it anywhere! The staff are right there to assist. People like Christopher and David go out of their way to ensure you enjoy a comfortable, memorable winter holiday. Problems? Questions? Staff is there. Great breakfast included!

Goodwill Goes a Long Way at a Hotel Stay.
Every year I travel to Winter Park for the Ski Cup at Winter Park Resort supporting the National Sports Center for the Disabled. This year I booked my reservation at the Best Western Alpenglo Lodge and was really looking forward to staying there as the reviews are great. Three days prior to my arrival, I partially tore my calf muscle doing a workout- so no skiing for me. I was still set on attending the event as there were great charity dinners each night. As I flew back to Denver on Friday and was about to drive to Winter Park, I got a call that my dog was attacked at daycare and needed to have surgery on his face. At that point, I said to myself, "The universe does not want me in Winter Park this weekend." I reluctantly called Best Western and simply told them, "Hey...I won't make it up there today. It's been a couple of days for me, and I am going to have to stay in Denver." I was resigned to just paying the no-show fee, as there was nothing I could do about it. Christopher, the representative at the hotel, asked what was going on and I explained the issue with my pup. As a side note, I had asked if there were any pet-friendly rooms I could use, but they were all booked. Christopher was under no obligation to help me, but he offered not to charge me the no-show fee. I was like, "Wow....that is so nice of you." Long story short...sometimes when you least expect it, people send you an act of kindness. And I intend to pay that kindness forward, in addition to 100% booking the Best Western Alpenglo Lodge next time I am in Winter Park. Lastly, when companies value their business, there is a line item for "goodwill." While it's sometimes hard to quantify, Christopher created so much goodwill for me with the Best Western chain, and I won't forget it. 5 stars and my pup (and calf muscle) are healing slowly. :)

A gem in the heart of Winter Park Village
A wonderful hotel, ideally situated in the centre of Winter Park Village. The hotel was warm, rooms very spacious, very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were super comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and there was something for everyone here, both hot and cold. There is also a great hot tub out the back which I made use of. I’m so glad we chose this hotel due to its location. There is a free shuttle bus between Fraser and Winter Park ski Resort with a stop right outside the hotel. Other amenities are so close by eg fab shops, eating places and a laundromat. I need also say that the staff were amazing. Housekeeping were helpful and very friendly. At the front desk Eric was absolutely brilliant. Always a smile and a chat. Jake was another friendly staff member, although I saw him less. I would highly recommend this hotel.
