    Truly amazing!!! Hope to make it an annual trip!

    The staff made the entire trip! Check in was smooth and we got upgraded to Sun Club for minimal cost. The room was beautiful and in the perfect location. The resort was very clean. Food was delicious. Joan, Yurke, Jinnette and Deivi at the adult SunClub pool were so amazing!! Knew our drink order and always smiling! Bombon and Ana were the best and kept everyone dancing and participating in activities!! We miss them all!!

    Carlos is the best!

    Carlos, at the kaleidoscope buffet, at sunscape Coco was the best! A great smile to start the day off and a warm welcome for dinner. The buffet was excellent but Carlos made it that much better. He was attentive, always smiling, always ready to help with whatever we needed.

    Amazing experience!!!

    The hotel is really good, neat, clean and organized. Entertainment crew always on point. Food was really good as well. Beautiful views, room service always perfect. Chicken legs was the funniest!!!! Loved and would recommend it to anyone

    Extremely Disappointed – Not the Honeymoon Experience We Paid For

    Extremely Disappointed – Not the Honeymoon Experience We Paid For We chose this resort for our honeymoon, expecting a relaxing, adults-only experience. What we got instead was a frustrating, overcrowded, and poorly managed trip that fell far short of expectations—especially from a Hyatt property. Upon arrival, we waited over two and a half hours just to check in. Despite informing the staff multiple times that it was our honeymoon and paying extra for an adults-only upgrade, no effort was made to acknowledge or accommodate us in any special way. Frankly, the staff didn’t seem to care. Our room was clean and spacious, which was one of the few highlights. However, issues quickly piled up: On day four, our toilet broke. We had to go to the front desk in person to request a repair, only to be met with dismissive, borderline rude service. On day six, our front door broke and we were locked out—again requiring staff intervention. Booking restaurants was a nightmare. For the first three nights, everything was booked. We had to wake up at 5:00 a.m. just to use the app to try to reserve a spot. The adults-only section was a major letdown. Despite paying a premium, there were no exclusive restaurants, and even the so-called adults-only buffet had children running around. We love kids—but not when we're seeking a peaceful, intimate dinner at 9 p.m. The beach itself is stunning, but good luck enjoying it unless you're up at 5:00 a.m. to claim a spot. There’s no bracelet system, so guests freely move between sections, making the adults-only concept virtually meaningless. Even the coffee shop had lines at 5:30 a.m., with a 30-minute wait just for a cup of coffee. Overall, this resort is severely overcrowded and understaffed, with poor service and indifferent management. It’s hard to understand how a Hyatt property could be so disorganized. The culture reflects poor leadership, and staff (with some rare exceptions) appeared disinterested in providing quality service—let alone earning tips. The few positives worth mentioning: The grounds are well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff were consistently friendly and professional. The bartender at the adults-only pool (an older gentleman—wish I caught his name) was exceptional and clearly understands hospitality. The young woman working long shifts at the coffee shop also stood out for her outstanding attitude and work ethic. And yes—the beach is gorgeous. That’s about it. Bottom line: We won’t be returning to this resort. This was meant to be a special, once-in-a-lifetime trip, and it ended up being a frustrating and exhausting experience. Hyatt should be embarrassed by the standard of service here.

    Incredible Vacation!

    Let me start off by saying that this was the most amazing vacation that I’ve ever had! I enjoyed every single thing that the resort had to offer and the atmosphere that was created by all the staff was absolutely incredible. First off, the whole resort including the hotels was kept clean and well maintained, and our room was always decorated nicely after it was cleaned so props to all the hotel housekeepers because they were absolutely amazing. I also want to give a special shoutout to “Juan Pablo" who helped us take our luggage's to and from our room. He was so sweet, happy, charming and super outgoing, he definitely deserves the recognition. The resort offered a whole lot of food options and diverse restaurants that were delicious. However, I must give a bit shoutout to the snack shack as their French fries, burgers and chicken wraps were delicious and is what I looked forward to eating every day! Additionally, all the workers in the drink bars were always smiling and were always happy to serve you. I don't even know where to begin with the entertainment and entertainment crew. I have never been to a resort where the entertainment was this good. The entertainment consisted of fun games by the beach and pool, dancing by the pool, music playing nonstop (props to “Dj Baby”), and exceptional night shows and dance parties (especially the white party). I was always entertained and the entertainment crew always made sure to include everyone and create a positive and fun environment all day every day. You could definitely tell that the entertainment crew loved what they were doing and each one of them brought something special to the entertainment, which is what I loved most. I want to highlight 3 entertainment members in particular that were absolutely exceptional, energetic, funny, kind, and welcoming. The first member is “Chocolate”. He was so friendly, outgoing, energetic and he always found a way to include everyone, especially to dance. The second member is “Coffee”. He was so so kind, charming, so fun to be around, silly and a great dancer. What I loved is that once he got to know my name, he remembered it for the rest of the time I was there and each day he would come up to me and talk to me, which is what I loved most about him and is what made him so special. Lastly the third member is “Golden boy”. He was also an amazing dancer, charming, full of energy (he always wanted someone to dance with him lol), very talkative, kind, silly and he always found a way to connect and create conversations with everyone including myself. However, the rest of the entertainment crew “Chicken leg”, “Dj Baby 9”, “Bom Bom”, “Coca cola”, “King” and more were all so amazing, are all very talented dancers, and I want to praise that they all have a special gift for entertaining people and I love that that is always shown by each and every one of them. They are the kindest, most welcoming and most amazing people that I’ve met, and they definitely deserve great recognition for everything that they do. I will without a doubt be back at this resort again, hopefully next year, as I loved every moment of every hour that I was there. I want to thank all the staff members, and entertainment crew for making it a vacation with memories that I will remember and cherish forever! Thank you, Sunscape Coco Punta Cana!
