Jun 04, 2025Not for us, needs serious updating
Not a good stay for us; we arrived for a one-night stay after spending a week diving. Neither of the televisions worked in our room, and the pull-out couch should have been disregarded a long time ago, as it was impossible to sit on it at all. The entire place appears to need improvements. I spoke to the manager, who offered to look at the televisions for us, but we were headed to dinner and were unable to find him upon our return. I wish he had offered us another room. The room and the pool were both clean. I won't be making reservations here again; we will stick with the Marriott Courtyard, much nicer, cleaner, in excellent condition, and also cheaper—a far better value.

Great location, nice staff but below par in terms of comfort
Pros: 1. Great location and right by Atlantis, and good walking distance to the rest of Paradise Island 2. The host is a really nice guy and very friendly and polite 3. Safe and great friendly security staff 24/7 to look after you Cons: 1. Like many have said, there's hardly any hot water in this place. If it comes on, you have about 20 seconds to apply your soap and rinse your body before the hot water disappears for another hour. 2. Poor shower pressure. This is a big issue if you seriously need a good shower after a long day, at least to wipe the sand of your body. 3. Strange half size pillows. You probably need 4 of them to make up 2 pillows. 4. The floor or carpet is quite dirty. I doubt this place ever gets hoovered because you can clearly see how your feet look when you walk around in the room. 5. Itchy. Me and my partner would arrive back after a day out and enter the room and itch all night and our sleep would just get ruined because of it. It's a very dated and tired place and it needs some sort of disinfecting because I can't count the amount of red spots or bed bug bites we probably got in the week I stayed here

Bay View Suites is great. A little dated, but very clean, well kept, and a great value. Hard to find anything at this price point on the island. Nice, private and quiet. Love the kitchenette, and our lower level unit had a nice private back patio. Would definately stay here again.

May 05, 2024A bit off the beat and not close to beach or restaurants.
The suites are large but amenities are very dated. Two nice pools. The suite was clean but appliances are worn and well used. There is no grocery store nearby to purchase food, so plan accordingly. It was a 10-15 min. walk to the Mariner’s Village with a deli and pizza restaurant but pricey. The on-site cafe was closed for our 3 day visit. The Bayview is an affordable option for families that want to prepare meals to save money as Bahamas is expensive for the average traveller.

Mar 22, 2024Awesome experience - would stay again
Stayed here 4 nights and it was awesome. Definitely getting what you pay for, there’s nothing glamorous but that was part of the reason we loved it. Your suites are in the middle of a tropical garden with plants, flowers, birds and cats all around the property. We had an upper suite with a front deck which we loved in the morning drinking coffee. There’s two great pools that were hardly crowded which made for a lovely post beach relaxation. The suites themselves are dated like the other reviews mentioned but pretty big and very clean. It is walking distance to cabbage beach and pretty much anywhere on Paradise Island including Atlantis and the Four Seasons. We walked across the bridge to Nassau a few times but the front security was also always helpful in calling a taxi for us whenever we needed. The 24 hour security made us feel safe and their warm greetings were a highlight of the days. Would definitely stay here again!
