We were lucky enough to stay at Barceló a second time. 5 years earlier (when it was Occidental) we were married there. The staff and grounds did not disappoint this time (or last)! The quality and experience was beyond amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience from beginning to end! Alan did water aerobics at the pool on Thursday and I wished he was there earlier in the week because he was AWESOME!!! I would have done more of the aerobic classes if he was there every day! Nilva at the towel stand always had a smile and was sooooo helpful! The gentleman that was cleaning the pool was also so accommodating and efficient I wish I caught his name! Bartenders Augustin and Armando were also serving with a smile! At breakfast Renato was amazing, it wasn’t until we sat in his section that we realized he was the waiter for our dinner on the beach 5 years earlier that we talk about ALL THE TIME!!! He is in so many of these reviews and it’s clear why, he’s so awesome!!! The one who probably made our trip easiest from beginning to end (before we arrived, starting from even before we booked) was Nathalia Sanchez. From answering questions online within literal minutes to making our stay easier while we were there she really was such an amazing added benefit to the experience!! I would recommend the resort to anyone. A lot of people say “don’t do all inclusive in Aruba” and because of Barcelós affordability and quality I have to disagree.

The property is lovely, the people are delightful.. There have been some changes especially to the Royal Club beach. It seems Aruba has put many restrictions on reserving spaces for the Royal Club owners and that makes the area much more crowded. The restaurants are very good, as usual. Our suite was great and had a terrific ocean view from the 9th floor
Had a wonderful time at the all inclusive Barcelo Aruba! At check in we were given a room with a terrible view overlooking ugly parking lot and no view of any water! We were able to get a new room overlooking pool/ocean immediately. Took a little persistence but persistence paid off. I would recommend when you book your stay that you request and pay for the pool/ocean view so as to avoid the disappointment of a crappy view of parking lot. Food and service was exceptional. Our group of 4 was able to get a palapa every day, but we always had one of our party go to the beach at 5:30/6 a.m. daily to get our loungers under a palapa!! Walked the beautiful beach daily and ate at all restaurants on site. All were great. Can’t say enough good things about our choice of resorts. I cannot wait to go back!!
My boyfriend and I went for a 5 day trip. We had an incredible time ! One of the best trips we've been on. All of the specialty restaurants were very good... even better than the one we did off of the resort. The beach was very clean. Staff would help you get set up with a table and a chair and ask for your drink orders. They also had snorkel gear you could check out for free. We did a one day excursion to Mangel Halto. Everyone was very attentive and did an exceptional job!

We visited Barcelo Aruba last month & had the best vacation ever. The employees are fantastic; kind, friendly, helpful & go out of their way to help. Eugene in the Buffet was fabulous! He even sent over a birthday cake at breakfast & had everyone sing happy birthday to me. Another shout out to Martin in Guest Services, he was so helpful as we were changing our dinner reservations, he even remembered my birthday which had been in a passing conversation weeks prior through email. The beach was gorgeous and the pool was spectacular with rock to sit on, trees for shade & plenty of chairs. Can’t wait til next year to go back. We did glance at other hotels to see if we’d want to try another hotel next year & we both came to the conclusion that Barcelo is by far the best all around!
