Wonderful stay at the Aquamarine
We were at the aquamarine for 9 nights and we enjoyed every day! Rooms are fine, and cleaned well. We had a ground floor room in building 81 and really liked the location. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was great. We preferred the restaurants at night and we enjoyed the El Olivo and Portofino, Limbo and MEAT. We did not like the Greek, just not our thing. Edwin in the buffet and El Olivo is amazing! Always a smile and always helpful. Juan around the pool is also the best, with great service and always a smile! The pool does have issues with not enough shade or chairs and the chair game was evident and many sat all day with no one at them, not cool for others that spend the whole day at the pool. Overall we loved our stay and have already rebooked for December!

Great resort
We stayed at the Bahia grand Aquamarine and it definitely did not disappoint. This was our first time in the Dominican and it will definitely be one to be remembered. From service to food to staff all was top notch. The resort is very well kept and clean. The food and a la cartes did not disappoint. The only thing I would say is there is a coffee shop on site but only available to certain levels. The coffee machines in the lobbies were always empty on account of this. Again overall it was absolutely stunning.

Another great Stay at Bahia Principe
This is my 12th time to Punta Cana, and 5th time at the BP. It was my daughter's first time there. I feel like this was the best trip there, in Aquamarine. We booked a pool view room and it was great. Staff were friendly, food was good, property was kept very clean. We booked our a la carte restaurants on the app 10 days in advance, and that was very convenient. We started remembering the names of exceptional staff, but the list became too long. They are noticeably happy people who sing a lot and mostly always smiling. There was always something to our liking at the buffet, and the morning omelet line was never long. The lounger/ towel hoarders is an issue at many resorts, but I did find it a little worse here this year year. We got up every morning to take photos of the beautiful sunrise typically and witnessed many lay there towels claiming a lounger, then not occupy it, sometimes not at all. There must be a way to control this. Overall, it was fantastic and my daughter is hooked on Punta Canada and cannot wait to go back 💕

Sunshine & Service
One again for the third time Bahia Aquamarime exceeded El Toro's expectations. Missed the welcome drink which is nice after a long day of traveling, but everything else went smoothly. I ate at the buffet everyday because the food is GREAT. The service is GREAT. Gracias to YULISA, GERMAN & JAMES for exceptional service everyday. My apologies to the rest of the staff that too make your Bahia experience great. Pool service were great as always. To Elvis the TOWEL GUY ... a little less sarcasm directed at guests would be appreciated. If you don't like working here, find yourself another job. I stayed in the 85 Villas as I usually do. A shout out to the wonderful ladies in the cleaning staff and to the Mini Bar guys. Moocho Gracias. To the hard working gardeners who keep Aquamarine looking beautiful 👏 job well done! The golfing was fun as usual. Played Iberostar 2x and Punta Blanca which is a long track. To my friend Jack from GONE FISHING PUNTA CANA ... moocho gracias Amigo Nunca es un adiós... hasta pronto viajeros del sol

Another great stay
We have stayed here twice in the last 6 months. The resort is very large (6 sections) but we liked the smaller size of the Aquamarine and that it is adults only. The rooms are showing age with scuffed up furniture and is overdue for a renovation. The pool is large and very clean. The beach is not close by. It’s a pretty long walk. There are carts that will take you back-and-forth to the beach however we found that they were not reliable and we walked to the beach every day. we found the food to be excellent at the à la carte restaurants and the buffet was very good at breakfast. The poolside grill was pretty bad. At dinner, the choices at the buffet are limited and the food was just fair. Skip the buffet for dinner and go à la cart. The night shows at the outdoor theater next door were excellent. The bathroom products they supply you in the shower are poor quality. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash. Also, they do not supply slippers. Bring your own because the floor is marble and very cold on your feet. Luis (Birdman) at the breakfast buffet was great and Orly and Wagner at Guest Services were so helpful. The hallways are very, very noisy early in the morning and late at night. You can hear every door slam, every footstep and conversation. You will be woken up early each day due to hallway noise. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back for a 3rd visit.
