Great stay at Austria Haus in Vail Village
We had a great five nights staying at Austria Haus. Really good location by the covered bridge. was quiet but right in the heart of the action. We were able to easily walk to different restaurants and anywhere in the village. Even Lionhead wasn't a bad walk. The staff was great, room was clean and quiet, fresh cookies every afternoon and a nice continental breakfast each morning that you ordered the night before. We signed up for the hot tub two nights and didn't use the fitness center but it looked nice although it was a bit small. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back here in a heartbeat.
Best staff in Vail
We stayed midweek, we showed up early and planned to ski all day prior to check in time. Michael at the front desk was great, he got us checked in and even provided a grooming report for the ski hill unsolicited. Joe the valet was great as well, they all were extraordinarily graciaous with their time and their advice. They allowed us to get all our ski gear on in lobby and we felt very welcome. We have stayed in Vail numerous times and this was by far the most helpful and enjoyable hotel staff we have experienced. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vail and highly suggest others to stay here, thanks again
Great hotel and great location
This hotel includes valet parking and great breakfasts. The rooms ooze ambiance with their in unit fireplace and feature great views. The heated bathroom floors are fabulous and the staff are all very kind and helpful. They even had 2 bottles of champagne waiting in our room upon arrival to help me celebrate my birthday. The location can’t be beat either, it is right around the corner from the covered bridge going into Vail Village. We will definitely stay here again.
Can't wait to come back!
Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing! From the moment you walk into the door you are treated like family! The hotel was beautiful, and the staff took all measures to be covid safe. Our room was stunning with a fireplace that turned on with the touch of a button, comfortable beds, and enough space to spread out. Breakfast was either pre-order or day of going downstairs and order and Angelica was so nice and helpful with breakfast! Paula the concierge was amazing! She helped us to book all our dining and had excellent recommendations on things to do in the area. If she saw you in the lobby she would ask about your experiences and ask if there was anything else she could do. Kenny and Connor the valets were so nice and helped us with our luggage and made sure we were all set with everything we needed. Kenny had some great recommendations on places to eat in the area as well. The location of the hotel was a short walk to shops, dining, and ice skating. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!
A Perfect Place to Stay
We stayed only one night. There is free parking nearby. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. We were able to order our breakfast ahead of time. The set up to pick up your meal and either take it out or sit in their eating room was perfect. The food was fine. I'm glad there was something there in the morning rather than having to go out and get something elsewhere. The location is wonderful. We easily walked all over town. We had dinner just a little ways down the walk at La Tour. It's a wonderful location.
