Visit a Chalet in Austria with Old World Charm without leaving the United States
Traveling to Vail for hiking and horse back riding, I discovered this charming Old World hotel with all of the warmth and friendliness of a real Austrian Family Chalet. The room had a fireplace and Juliet balcony complete with flower boxes. The heated floors in the huge bathroom completed my comfort. The Staff attended to my every need and suggested places to eat and explore. They even helped me with my altitude sickness on the first day. I definitely will return. I felt at home.
There isn't anything negative about this property. The hotel is in a great location, and we had a super nice, clean room. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Upon check-in, Mark at the front desk, went above and beyond to help me with a concern I had, even calling me on his day off to give me an update. Outstanding customer service. Great stay.
getaway to the mountains
This hotel has the feel of a European three star hotel. It was clean, quiet, excellent location (away from the vail center commotion but steps from it for restaurants and shops). The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful, the breakfast plentiful ( although the coffee could be stronger),the valet parking very convenient (and only $5 more than the public garage across the street). Another plus is the windows fully open for fresh air (this isn't always the case in some hotels).
Fall visit to watch the Aspen leaves change color.
This place is totally awesome. From the initial arrival with a welcome from the Bell Hop (Colin) to the Front Desk Check-in staff (Leidy, Paula and others whose names I missed - all great), to the housekeeping team and to the breakfast serving team, all were exceptionally professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Oh, and the facilities and location - exceptional. The rooms and facilities were clean and reflected modern amenities with a touch of traditional ambiance.
Great Boutique hotel with European charm in the heart of the Village
The people on sight are friendly and kind, breakfast is great.. wish they didn't have to start to charge for parking its one of the reasons we started staying with Austria Haus we had an issue with our reservation and did not receive the room we booked 5 months in advance the front desk tried to resolve but the hotel was sold out... we are considering a different hotel , but we do love the staff and rooms and the beds are so comfy
