Great location with wonderful staff
Austria Haus is a great find. Wonderful location close to the covered bridge and a short walk to gondola 1. Valet parking makes it easy to arrive and depart with a vehicle. All the staff here were wonderful which isn't normally the case these days. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay here.

Great location, super nice staff
Perfectly located with a short walk to the covered bridge and the other small bridge. Cozy hotel with a nice breakfast to get you going. It is continental breakfast, so don't think steak and eggs and act disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, the view is lovely. Love the heated bathroom floors! The cookies in the afternoon in the lobby are a nice treat if you come by at the right time. The coffee is great all day!! The bellman, front desk ladies, and everyone we encountered were eager to help. We would definitely stay there again.

Gem for a perfect ski vacation
My wife and I sayed here for a ski vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect located right at the covered bridge, and close to the shopping and dining in Vail village and only 5 min walk to the Gondola. Our bedroom was cozy and clean, staff is very friendly, and the continental breakfast was just what we needed to grab a quick bite prior to hitting the slopes (unless you prefer to spend $100 at a fancy sit down place). The heated bathroom floors are fabulous and we utilized the humidifier present in the closet. Only con was you could hear the town shuttles running outside until 1am with a room facing the roadway. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were much needed amenities and both very clean and nice. The hotel was right across the street from our shared airport shuttle drop off at the Vail transportation center. We used the 8150 ski shop across the way at the Mountain Haus for our rentals and they stored our skis each night. We will be choosing this place again on our next trip!

Convenient location, but feels like a motel
Pluses: Great location - in close proximity to restaurants / shops. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Minuses: - Very poor breakfast. Feels like a cheap motel. Hardly any choice, no hot options, no fruit except for bananas, no coffee machine, make your own waffle station. Basically, no service - super basic. - Room - pictures look so much better. In reality our room (junior suite) was dated with signs of wear everywhere. No humidifier - the air gets so dry that my lips cracked. No extra blankets - just some thin bed linen. Even after request. Had to ask for an extra bath robe despite booking a room for 2. Thin walls - can hear people in the hallway and the elevator. - Hyatt issues - I booked this hotel because of its Hyatt designation and paid all cash. After 2 long conversations with Hyatt customer service over the last month I still have no qualifying nights or spend credited to my account. It is not fixed which is super disappointing. Now I need to wait 2 more weeks for this to get resolved. Looks like staff isn’t trained to deal with the World of Hyatt visitors. I am writing this review so people have realistic expectations about this hotel. I chose it primarily due to stellar reviews. It felt overpriced for what it was plus clear issues with World of Hyatt.
