Austria Haus Vail
Our second stay at Austria Haus Hotel in Vail, CO. Kind of a strange atmosphere in Vail in the midst of the Covid crisis, but the staff at the Austria Haus went out of their way to assure that we enjoyed ourselves in spite of the restrictions. The room we checked into was not cleaned, so Ivanna at the front desk, immediately upgraded us to a very comfortable suite. Very comfortable bed, plenty of fluffy towels, and all the amenities. The ladies doing the “to-go” breakfasts were great. Paula and all of the other concierges were very helpful. We look forward to staying at the Austria Haus again in the future.
Amazing Boutique Hotel and the BEST Staff
First time in Vail and was recommended to stay at the Austria Haus. I travel a lot and by far this property has the friendliest, warmest staff...they make you feel at home! Ivanna, the Resident Manager and her team go out of their way to enhance your stay. I was so impressed how they recognized us by name and were so personable. Dave, Bellman will share all the great highlights of the village. Nicole always there to greet you with a smile and offer assistance. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!
Wonderful Hotel in Vail
We really enjoy staying at the Austria Haus in Vail, CO. Its a great location; the hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and they have a great pool with a view. Every detail is well done!
My family of four stayed at this nice property. What made the place special was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Nicole at the front desk went out of her way to be helpful and Paula the concierge was also a pleasure. Pool and hot tub we’re very nice and we were given an upgrade to a suite.
Great location. Walking distance to everything. They have ski storage near the base of Gondola 1. We stayed in a hotel room (vs. a condominium unit) for 6 nights in early March. It looked like all the hotel style rooms at this property face the street and north. The condominium units face the mountain and south. Our room was laid out very nicely, with a small bench for boot and coat storage, a large closet and massive bathroom with heated floors. There was a cute gas fireplace and seating area, a small refrigerator and keurig coffee maker, but the lighting was terrible and the room did feel dark. Breakfast was perfect. Fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, waffles, yogurt, coffee, tea and juices that were augmented a couple of days with egg dishes. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. It overlooked the creek with views of the mountain and gondola 1. Patrons were some couples (mostly 40 to 60ish), many multi-generational families. Awesome staff. Friendly and helpful.
