    Was happy but not elated

    First they don’t have valet which whatever it is what it is but the parking is a nightmare ... they wanted me to upgrade my room so I did I think it was a good choice but probably not worth the extra $$$$. I get the wearing a mask thing but outside at the pool ?? When I’m not near anyone ?? It’s hot and the last thing I wanted to do is have my face covered. Oh and the pool is so small and no lounge chairs to really speak of I counted may 6 hardly enough for the amount of guests trying to enjoy the pool. The elevation affected my asthma so it made it difficult to breathe in the smoky areas of the casino that you have to walk through to get to the door. Ate at the steakhouse which was the highlight and beat part of the trip food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The Purple Parrot was blah.. I had to shew away flies from my table and there were fruit flies as well.. not exactly pleasant. The walls are thin the people in the room next to mine played music really loud at all hours and nothing like being woke up to their own homemade sex tape soundtrack... I honestly would eat at the steakhouse again but I wouldn’t stay here again... other casinos seemed to be a lot better

    Wonderful Stay at Atlantis

    I recently stayed at the Atlantis Casino and Resort for 3 nights with a group of friends for a birthday event. All the precautions for COVID were handled well by the staff. Our group had a blast and that was because of how well our amazing host Aubrey took care of us. This was my 3rd visit and Aubrey goes above and beyond every time! I will always stay at the Atlantis on my trips to Reno thanks to Aubrey's hospitality.

    "Resort" by another name hotel

    Upscale hotel, marketed as a Resort. Not really know what the difference is...other than the $30/night charge. The Purple Parot and Steakhouse food and service is very good. Still has smoking in the casino. Rooms have been redone...comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Great gym. Indoor pool can be really noisy, small outdoor pool. Is it a resort? Only you can answer that... Hint, if you are on the 13th floor, you can take the 1-12 floor elevators and walk up the one floor. Elevators were down serving the 13th floor....Yes there is a 13th floor in a casino....

    Great place and awesome service!!!

    We were really impressed with all the safety protocols being followed at Atlantis, We stayed at a downtown establishment a couple weeks ago when we were in town and let’s just say they didn’t even compare , didn’t even seem to care about safety honestly... so in short they need to send some their execs in to the Atlantis to show them how’s it’s done right...the indoor/outdoor pool area was perfect for the kids and adults alike...great customer service as well , love that the buffet is back open too, Starbucks in the morning on site too they really had it all , can’t wait until our next trip to Atlantis...They even took the extra steps to check in on us to see how our stay was going and to share future slot tournament’s and upcoming promotions!!! Thank you again Menchie E. !!!!! Seriously the best service we’ve had in a long time plain and simple....

    From First to Worst

    I could never quite understand why companies change a winning formula. Like a diner that swaps out their best selling entree with a new and improved version that no one orders. Unfortunately this is exactly what the Atlantis in Reno has done. They went from having a winning formula to a losing one, all in the effort to save a few pennies. I have been a customer of Atlantis since 2006. They used to pick us up at the airport in a limo, take care of all of our meals and give us generous promo chips and freeplay. As the economy has improved their level of comps have gone down. Today with a higher level of play I have to nag the hosts to give me even a fraction of what was once given. My suite on the last few occasions has been dirty. There were also expired beverages in the fridge. My last review is a experience was the icing on the cake. After spending the weekend there playing $10 a pull on slots and $300 a hand on BJ I texted my host to say I was checking out and to take care of my bill. She proceeds to tell me she can’t cover all of my charges. We are talking less than a grand here, and I must have lost north of 15k. I was honestly shocked. Atlantis seems to think their something special. Well they aren’t. Dirty rooms, rude dealers, rude hosts, and low paying slots. You literally offer nothing your competitors don’t. Judging by the other reviews I’m not the only VIP that’s been alienated. Rest assured I’ve fired both my host and your property. Peppermill will get my business from now on.
