    Maui vacation

    Older facility but clean and great location. Nothing really notable, like I said the place was built in the 80’s I believe. Our condo looked like it had been refreshed in recent years. The staff is nice and the grounds are good. The location is the best part of this resort.

    Meh… the view and pools are great, the rest not so much.

    The view was great, the pools are awesome. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were extremely nice and helpful. The front desk staff were curt at best and rude at worst. Checking in the woman was clearly uninterested in her job and not at all welcoming or friendly. We extended our check out time….paid for that as well… got new keys and the next day they didn’t work and that wasn’t even the day we were to check out! I called the front desk and instead of apologizing and offering to send someone up with new keys it was like ok come get new ones. That’s not customer service. So my husband went to get them and had to walk in the pouring rain to do so! As a side not you have to walk basically outside to get to the front desk. The room is tired, we had the two beds two bath ocean view room. Dated furniture, not even a pen and paper, beds were very comfortable though. For $1000.00 a night I expected much better! Especially after the Outriggers Waikiki Beach where they couldn’t do enough for you! Not impressed and would not stay again.

    Great place for a family vacay

    Loved staying here with the whole fam. A great place to gather. Location could not have been better. Rooms were large and bright and our beach front view gave us an excellent opportunity to whale watch from our balcony. Lots of room for all 9 of us to sit out there and enjoy the view.

    January Family Trip to Maui

    Overall this resort served the purpose of being an affordable (for Hawaii) place to stay as a family. I was really surprised at the overall lack of friendliness from their staff but the pool was nice and the kids had a great time. Not sure I'd stay here again but we had a nice visit to Maui. Also, the bed in the master bedroom was AWFUL. Definitely needs a replacement mattress!!

    Incredible Resort !

    Our family have been coming to Kaanapali Shores for over 35 years and it is a special place to us.Staff always are amazing as well as the resort grounds.We have met so many great people here over the years and can't wait to come back to our home away from home.
