Rooms are nice for families. The door separating the bedroom from living area was great for young kids going to bed early. The water park is amazing. My kids loved spending their days there in the lazy river, wave pool, and huge water slides. Would definitely recommend for families.

This place has dated decor and the pool area smells really bad. The layout is weird with stairs that go up and down to multiple levels with a lack of elevators. Not an environmentally friendly place, there aren't even recyclable bins in the room. What put this bad experience over the edge is that your room service is supposed to run until 10pm yet you ignored my call just after 9 (tried several times). We'll never stay here again.

Sep 24, 2024Great Place, not a great option if you need to be cool to sleep :(
Upadate: i need to add, if you have an issue do talk to management. they are eager to help if they can. the last night we changed our room and the water was HOT! the AC still was frigid during the day and it warmed up at night (though not quite as warm as the previous room). If I could sleep warm or get a cool room at night I would visit again in a heartbeat. We loved the clean Pools/ hot tubs, beautiful views. Lovely overall resort layout that made strolling the grounds in the evenings lovely. and plenty of on property food options! while the water park food, was, well water park food, all of the other dining options had some great food, and the waitstaff was very pleasant. And of course the central location was very convenient. Original Review: not a great option if you need to be cool to sleep :( sleeping is the primary reason to rent a room, right?! Well, it would be nice if i could sleep through the night!!! I turn the the temp down to 68 F….fall asleep…and wake around 1:45 am because it has become so warm, about 73F …turn down the A/C a few degrees- even though it was already set to 68F…the room will cool for about 10 minutes and then it turns off, so get back up turn it down another degree…room is still 75….and there is no way i am getting any more sleep. This is the 5th night in a row of only a few hours of sleep…if i can get a flight home, im leaving there was nothing enjoyable about not sleeping, it turns what would have been a fun experience into misery. Also, checked in with a number of other guests experiencing the same thing, so it is not just me. Honestly, I’d prefer the room at 75F during the day, and 68-69F at night….any sleep specialist will agree a cool room remotes healthy sleeping.

The location is great! Only about 10 - 15 minutes away from Phoenix International Airport, which makes it easier and convenient for international travelers. The resort looks like a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert, with palm trees, fun water park, lazy river and Golf Course. Stayed for 4 nights. The size of room / suite was spacious, clean and equipped with basic hotel amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the resort. Tried the Mexican restaurant. Loved ambience of the restaurant. The food was great and so was the service. The only disappointment was, that I was over-charged for extra nights early check-ins and late checkouts etc, instead of only once. The error was corrected eventually, though it was a bit frustrating and time consuming. Overall a pleasant experience. Only wish the front desk staff could pay more attention to billing details at check-out.

Vacation downward spiral
The first 4 days were ok , then room service had to be called multipul times to come clean the room daily... total stay was to be 11 days , then on day 5 me and my girlfriend get engaged and come back to no hot water we are advised to move locations , so we did a day and a half later the room moved into says now we have to move again because of bug/pest control. Went back and forth to the lobby as the key 🔑 no longer works 3 times back and forth and the guy at the counter has the balls to tell me to calm down as I'm gettin upset that I'm doing this running around, then security comes to the room to let us in and HE CANT EVEN get in now we wait and wait ... managment has "no clue" about these issues as they don't talk or as soon as the phone is hung up it's not their problem any more theres multipul more issues that i could write but the just has been said ... my new engagement to my Fiance is now been a stress nightmare dealing with the ordeal of getting a room. I wonder if Arizona Grand will have customer service in mind and answer this or contact me directly and make it right.
