Quite simply - don’t stay here. Hotel is worn out. Air Conditioning in room obnoxiously loud and inefficient. Bed linens worn out. Pillows beyond useful life. Shampoo and Conditioner dispensers ripped from wall in bathroom and just on floor. Not sure how this property gets to fly a Marriott branded Aloft flag. For what’s usually a cookie cutter, consistent experience - this Aloft property is anything but. Only a disappointment.

I don't know what has happened to this property. We first stayed here in January 2023 and it was fine. This time...not so much. The hallways were excruciatingly hot. The room was clean, but the mirror had a huge crack in it. The water obviously had air in the lines because it sputtered and spit throughout three showers. The front desk staff did the bare minimum at check in. There was the smell of weed throughout. With my child starting college nearby, I was hoping to make this hotel our go-to, but I'm afraid we can't if it is this unpleasant.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The worst customer service ever. I made this reservation 3 weeks prior. Upon arrival I was casually told they had overbooked and they would pay for my stay at a location of THEIR choosing that was a few miles away in a drastically different area of town. I did not want to stay at this location and this manager at this point was done with me and refused to help me if I wasn’t going to stay where she wanted me to stay. Something has definitely changed at this location which is sad because it’s a great location. Hope Marriott is paying attention because some changes need to be made here.

The front desk clerk had the annoying habit of not looking at me when he spoke. At one point, his head was 90 degrees to me. Consequently, I could not hear him in the noisy lobby and had to ask him to repeat nearly every sentence. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Not really pet friendly
Dog friendly = no pet fee. BUT very little, to zero walking areas, limited grass. Nice staff. Bar wasn’t serving food and bar did not have any red wine. Room was clean but dated. TV was smeared with some cleaning product and TV cables just hanging down. Touch up paint needed. Disappointed since we live Marriott and have always had a great result with this brand.
