The Saved by the bell resort where Jessy’s dad gets married.
Really, nothing negative to say about this place. It’s a “classic” JW, nothing new here but it’s still beautiful and lovely. The views are spectacular. Comfortable sleep quality with a few food options and also room service.

Internet and cell coverage spotty
I recently attended a 4 day conference at this Marriott. Grounds seemed lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the flock of flamingos at the front of the property. Appreciated the free, covered parking lot although parking spots were very, very tight. It also seemed to be at 95% capacity all the time, requiring one to drive round and round to find a spot. My big beef was with the internet and cell coverage inside the conference rooms. It worked about 50% of the time, making communication very difficult. Food at the conference was better than average, with friendly and quick service. I did appreciate that the servers had a list of ingredients available for every meal. Very helpful for those with dietary concerns.

Pool is great, glass bathrooms HORRIBLE
The pool is absolutely amazing, and by far the best part of the resort. When we were there, they had music and then a DJ, you’re allowed to bring (or buy) pool floats, so people were floating around and having a great time. Super fun. Get there early (before 9am) if you want to find chairs. They do not police the chair grabbers as much as they should-many people dropped towels and then left, which is not supposed to be allowed. The lobby is lovely, they have a large bar and sushi restaurant, but the rest is so spread out it’s hard to find anything. We never walked over to the spa because it was 110 and the spa isn’t connected to the hotel. The lobby shop is around the corner down a hallway, a completely weird location. We walked by it twice before we figured out it was what we were looking for. The thing we really didn’t like though, and this is what lost a star, are the new room renovations. I don’t know who thought them up, but they need to be fired ASAP and the renos done need to be fixed. Someone had the idea to separate the shower and toilet areas with glass shower doors. Side by side. It looks like one giant shower, except there’s one door on the left and one on the right. It was just plain weird. There was a freestanding bathtub across the room as well, but again, there were GLASS barn doors next to the tub as a peek-a-boo separating the room from the bathroom. It was all glass. With tile floors. Do you know how much glass muffles bathroom sounds? Not much, we’ve come to find out. Do you know how much light glass blocks? None. All of that glass may look nice but it gives absolutely no privacy and we hated every minute of it. Turning the light on at night illuminated the entire room, there were sounds and smells that couldn’t be hidden-it was truly awful. I would have hated to have been there as a family. Marriott needs to nix this horrible design ASAP! As great as the pool area is, we honestly may choose a different hotel next time to avoid all of that glass.

A luxury oasis
Checking in oliver at the front desk absolutely set the bar by giving us the most beautiful view my eyes have ever seen. Enjoying the balcony facing the pool and watching the boats go by was a highlight of our trip! When we needed questions answered and recommendations drew at the front desk was awesome! We have not stopped talking about this trip since we have been home. Even in 106 degrees heat the staff was a breath of fresh air when we needed time away from work the most. Love the DJ by the pool on saturdays, we were there a little over 24 hours and next time we have agreed we need to do 3 nights to truly explore the entire property. Some of the best sleep in the fluffiest bed. We want to thank the staff but more specifically oliver and drew at front desk for making this trip special and relaxing!

This should not be a JW, worn out and run down property!
This is a great location and the grounds are very nice. The check in was swift and everyone we encountered was very nice. The service was good and the breakfast was reasonably priced. However this property has been beat up and the rooms are trashed. The corridor carpet is terrible and this should not be considered one of the Marriott luxury property’s. This is very misleading and should be downgraded considerably.
