Disney world hotel but not really
The main benefit is the location of this resort . The hotel is tired and the maintenance is not enough to make it feel any less tired. The parking fee and the extra “hotel “ fee add up to almost $100 per night so be mindful if you are staying here over the Disney resorts due to price. The bus transportation to the parks is also not on par. The bus to will take you to the magic kingdom but will drop you off at the ticket center and not where all the Disney busses go , this will add an easy 30 minutes of travel for you to get to the kingdom. The room we had the bigger option as it was the family deluxe room and it was just fine but the furniture showed wear and there was no tub in the bathroom. So if you have little ones that might be an issue . The pool is a joke as you will find drunk adults thinking they are on trip to Cancun with their drinks in the pool or just plain eating nachos in the water. The pool is huge and that’s a plus but often feels over crowded . There are no lifeguards on duty and the one person on top of the water slide controlling the slide couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone. If you need a place to sleep and go to the parks this is a great option but if you are used to the other deluxe Disney hotels this one misses the mark.

WDW Dolphin: Alcohol, Cigarettes and Mildew
Smells of mildew, alcohol and cigarettes. Pools are full of loud drinkers and the rooms are abysmal. Parking lot charges $38 a night and the lot was full, we were told to park at another resort. Daily amenities fee of $50 plus tax and LOUD construction going on wakes you up at 7am. Never again, not my tribe.

Good, clean basic accommodations
We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. On our latest trip, our housekeeping staff did a really great job, and we had no complaints. Perfect location to the parks. Rooms are clean and comfortable

Dolphin is always Great!
This a a great hotel! Love staying at the Dolphin. Always treated well by the associates, love the lobby area, great amenities, rooms are very comfortable, and a fantastic location near the Boardwalk. This trip we basically just hung out at the pool, which has a great grotto type pool area. Very beautiful with lots of trees, lots of lounge chairs, a water slide, a lap pool, food and beverage service, a sandy beach area, swan boats for rides, a DJ spinning great tunes, and just a great place to hang out in the Florida sunshine. Having spent probably 30-40 nights at the hotel since it opened, I highly recommend the Dolphin as an alternative to other Disney properties.

Got a great price.
Check in a breeze. I called the lady who checked us in Miss.Capricorn. She was great. Hotel was big and easy to find shops, restaurants, etc... The Fountain was 3.5. The Bluezoo was a 4. Amaretto My family ate there and loved it. My favorite Rosa Mexicano a 10 out of 10. Maid sevcie great. Got our room cleaned everyday.( except for the 1st day, came from 10 hours out at MK room wasn't clean. Next morning told the front desk we wanted our room cleaned everyday. It was after that.) Room was basic. I rate a 5. But we could watch the fireworks from our room. They gave us a cot. (complimentary) Now for transport from hotel to parks. MK and AK we were let out in the parking lot. Not a big deal. Took the monorail to the ticket booth. HWS and Epcot by boat. Which was nice. BUT if there is a thunderstorm it stops and they provide a bus. Now for the water parks. It tells you to go to Disney springs then transfer to the water park you want to go on. They drop you off at the public bus stop. We Waited then realized we had to go at the Disney pick up. Noone told us this. When coming back we took the boardwalk bus back. 5 minute walk to the Dolphin. If we would of known this we would of took the bus from the broadwalk to typhoon lagoon. This was easy. Pool area for the kids was great. 10 out of 10. We would not go back because of the transportation to the parks. Unless we were saving $500.00 or more on each person. We been to Disney 4 times and we know we perfer the Disney theme resorts. To each their own. Our 7 day vacation was wonderful. The transportation didn't effect our vacation just made it a little bit inconvenient. Transportation to typhoon lagoon was a big let down. But we still had a great time at the water park. When we booked it was the cheapest of all the Disney resorts. I couldn't believe the price. I thought we got lucky, and we were. Shortly after I booked the price was $800.00 more per person. I may have been disappointed if I paid regular price. But for the money we paid we were happy. Paid about $1200.00 Canadian flight and room. Couldn't beat that price
