    A little disappointed

Nice hotel, clean rooms, unfortunately the private beach was closed and we were not notified at booking. (The entire reason for our stay) I should add that if you are looking for food, eat off property.

    Jul Long Weekend

Do NOT recommend to stay at this hotel until renovations are completed. Without private beach access, this is just an expensive hotel with NO amenities to justify high prices.

    10/10 Highly Recommend

Our room was great, amenities were above and beyond what we expected. Staff was super friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Cherry on top was the gambling facilities.

    A Memorable Family Stay

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in late June 2025, and it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable family getaways we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The check-in staff were warm and welcoming, and every team member we encountered—from the concierge to shuttle drivers—was consistently friendly and helpful. We especially want to highlight the staff at the outdoor activity center. Our children had a fantastic time with archery, kayaking, and a wood-burning craft activity, and the staff running these programs were truly outstanding. The whole family agreed we’d love to return just for those activities alone. The poolside dining experience was another highlight. The food was delicious, the service was quick and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing. My wife had a spa treatment during our stay and couldn't stop raving about how amazing it was—truly one of the best she’s had. Even the small gestures made a difference; on our last morning, a kind male staff member personally returned our son’s lost hat before we checked out. That kind of care really stood out. Lastly, while we appreciated that beach access was still available during the renovation, the area was very crowded and not particularly relaxing. Surprisingly, we enjoyed the pool area much more—it was cleaner, calmer, and better organized. Overall, though, it was the great experience. The staff, amenities, and atmosphere all made for an unforgettable trip. We look forward to coming back, especially once the renovations are complete!

    Perfect for a couples getaway

The activity center folks are incredible and Hyatt had exceptional services. We scheduled our kayak rentals with no issue and were even given a ride by the hotel to the beach and back. And then the concierge recommended some hikes and for one of the trails, there's a Hyatt shuttle that will do a pick up and drop off. So convenient!! Like we really just relaxed without stress. Rooms were clean. There's a small casino as well and that's just fun to do in the evenings. But it's not Vegas so just take it for the experience it is. Also there's not much ambient light so you can really see many stars blanketing the night sky.
