    Disabilities need not apply

The hotel is very nice, service is good, housekeeping is good, staff is friendly. If I didn't have crutches and therefore disabled this would be 5 stars. Lugging around this complex with a disability is not pretty. Yes you can rent a motorized wheelchair. But not all of us are 80 or weigh 400 pounds. Cutting across the pool complex would do a great deal to reduce the required steps to get from point A to B. A cart such as available at the airport would aid going between the 2 hotels Wynn and Encore. It would also allow access to the shopping area. I would stay there again but not if I was in anyway disabled.

Outstanding room renovations - Tower Suites Review

A 5-star property within the Wynn Resort. Separate valet, lobby, check-in, elevators & pool. When Wynn advertises their 5 star/5 diamond status, it's the Tower Suites that actually received these ratings. The Tower section of the property is basically the south end of the main Wynn high-rise, but has a totally separate feel from staying in the main resort. It's worth the added expense when you can find the Tower Suite rooms at a reasonable increase over standard Wynn rooms. The new room renovations are 'extremely' well done. The best rooms in Las Vegas, in my opinion. They are more muted than the original room design, which mirrored the current casino vibe. Note that standard Wynn rooms are basically identical to the Tower rooms, except that there may be more suites in the Tower section. With the Tower rooms, you're paying for service and the exclusivity of a smaller lobby with its own dedicated check in desk, and the Tower pool. I was upgraded to a Parlor Suite and pics reflect that layout, but the style of the standard rooms should be very similar. While the check-in is stress free with minimal if any lines, the two dedicated Tower pools are the main draw for the step up to the Tower, IMO. The service at the pool is excellent, and you can easily get chaise lounges with shade if needed. That alone beats hunting for available chairs at the main pool - and you can pretty much forget about shade unless you opt for a cabana, which further supports paying the extra for a Tower room. Tableau is the breakfast & lunch restaurant located within the Tower Suites lobby. Make sure to book breakfast reservations well in advance of your stay to be assured of getting a table. Even with a reservation, there is usually a 15 minute or longer wait, and that's the main reason for a 4 star rating. Food is quite good, so no issues there. Rooms - 5 stars Tower Pool - 4.5 stars (they just need to figure out how to keep the pool open when the wind blows) Tableau - 4 stars Overall, you can't go wrong at The Wynn and especially when you opt for the Tower Suites. I've been staying at this resort for years, and with the new room design - it remains my favorite property on the strip.

The Wynn never misses for me and my Mrs.!

My lovely bride and I often venture to Las Vegas, not to gamble, but to attend sporting events, concerts, shows and enjoy great food while taking in the sights (particularly at Christmas). We have stayed in several places but by far our go-to for great stay is the Wynn and Encore. We have stayed multiple times at the Wynn or Encore and they always provided the right level of luxury and pampering with great service and a wonderful facility. Our rooms have always been comfortable, spacious, clean and well appointed, along with an excellent panoramic view of the Strip, city and mountains. We recently tripped to Vegas to take in residency performances by John Legend at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood and Michael at Resorts World Theater and the Wynn is a quick walk away from the latter. The restaurants and the shops at the Wynn are fabulous but can get quite pricey. Fear not! The Wynn is also just across the Strip from the Fashion Show Mall for a reasonable variety of shopping and dining at a little less crazy prices. This time around we also had a couples massage at the Wynn Spa and it may have been the best spa treatment we have ever enjoyed. We love the total spa design and experience. We also indulged in the pool and pool bar at our most recent stay and found the comfort, ambiance and service to be top notch. And you know you are staying at a high falutin' hotel when the pool staff includes a falconer to keep the birds away. Falcon fantastic! I always recommend the Wynn for Las Vegas luxury, particularly as part of the American Express Fine Hotels package. The program usually provides a great Vegas value. Most recently we received good hotel prices, a $60 daily breakfast credit, $100 resort credit, a $25 beverage credit, early check-in, late check-out and a room upgrade. Combine that package with the resort's standard of facilities and service and it makes for a Wynn, win win.
