Do not stay here!
This place is not a 4 start. It is a 1 star if that. Food is not good no flavor. Housekeeping cannot give you towels you have to get towels thru what’s app or go to desk . Never heard of such. The coffee shop and bar in Lobby is the only thing that is ok. The staff is nice . Toilets don’t flush , water pressure very low , you have to flush the toilet twice just for paper to go down. I would not recommend this place.

Krystal Grand is more like Krystal Bland
Save yourself the trouble and don’t go! The 2 big pools are for families with kids, to include the infinity pool, while they also have a kid pool. The adult pool is set aside and way smaller. Not enough umbrellas and their food option there are lackluster hot dogs and burgers. Our upgraded room balcony door didn’t close properly, neither did the shower door. The towel hook ripped off the wall without touching it. We didn’t get new towels till 5pm and the food was worse than hospital cafeteria food. We travel a lot and this is the worst experience. I don’t know how they got a Tripadviser award???? No one picks up at the front desk if you call and it’s just an unorganized hotel with the trick of “all inclusive”! We are leaving early to never come back!

Pool Side Service
Had a fantastic 5 day trip! The staff at the pool are amazing. Shout out to Ismael and Ulises. They took great care of us! Our concierge, Gabriel, was also super helpful in ensuring we had dinner reservations and have us great guidance on tours and a beach close by to swim in. The food was good. Breakfast was pretty much the same daily, with omelets, eggs too order, beans, potatoes, chilaquiles, pancakes and French toast. And of course there was fresh fruit, yogurt and varied breads. Our favorite restaurant was Risotto, the Italian one. We also loved Ayami; we went twice, once for the hibachi and second for the sushi. The pool side grill was awesome with yummy burgers, pizza and fish tacos. The waiters even bring the food to your pool chairs! My only CON was housekeeping. Not sure what the problem was but their service was inconsistent with leaving towels. The room was cleaned very well but some days we got 1 towel, 2 towels or no towels. It was a bit annoying to have to call down daily. They did, however, come up with towels quickly. The hotel is a bit outdated and small. If you're looking for luxury, this is not it. If you're looking for a small, family feel where you'll know everyone by the 2nd day, this is it!

You NEED to stay Here!
This property is amazing! So sad we couldn't stay longer. Came for a wedding in the area but we wished we could've stayed longer at Krystal Grand!. The property is amazing and everyone from check-in (Luis), to the concierge (Gabriel) and the Head Concierge (Mario) and the Bartenders (Homero and Raul)... Everyone was amazing. The other staff in the restaurants and the housekeeping were all friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back , soon!
