    Great location, small bathroom

This is a great location in the French Quarter. The bathroom is incredibly small though and not ideal for a large party. Rooms are a great size though. One elevator was broken, so this created longer wait times. Overall, a great hotel. I would stay again!

    Slept with lights on

Will get right to the point. My husband and I were assigned one of the ADA rooms and within minutes of turning on the bathroom light when we arrived to the room (at 11:30pm), a 3” roach went scurrying across the bathroom floor, up the wall, and then flew into the bedroom. My husband caught it with a cup and flushed it down the toilet, but after that I was afraid to sleep with the lights off. We considered asking for a new room but figured a new room could also have roaches. Instead, we justified staying in the room but my anxiety forced my husband to have to be okay to sleeping with lights on. Surprisingly I got sleep and was not attacked by roaches (at least to my knowledge). And we didn’t see anymore roaches in our room or the hotel the remaining two nights we had there. Other than the roach situation, the hotel was great. Perfect location and super walkable. Comfortable bed (albeit very small - my husband and I ended up sleeping in two different beds because they were so small). I’m 5’3” and my feet hung off the bottom of the bed if I slept straight. I had to sleep diagonally. I might stay here again? From what I’ve read, cockroaches are just a problem in New Orleans and it might just be the way it is and to be expected in any hotel. I’m not sure. I’ve never seen one, ever, so it was quite alarming for me. As far as staff, the check in staff didn’t seem overly friendly, but the daytime staff seemed much more pleasant.

    Great property

Great property right in the French Quarter. It is a few blocks off of Bourbon Street so depending on what you want, but liked the location. Close enough to everything else to walk to. They had a partnership with a place for breakfast delivery for Covid. We had an issue with the refrigerator in the room and Eddie one of the maint staff took care of it quickly and professionally. [We had some medicine that we had to travel with.]

    Filthy!

We checked in @ 9:00, front desk girl was kind, and friendly! Got up to room, went to take a hot shower after a 15 hour car ride... pubic hair on toilet, hair in tub, and particles of something all over shower floor! So gross!! Called down, front desk said someone would be up, well that never happened! We are aspire members and travel a ton to IHG hotels, I am completely disgusted by this room cleaning, especially during Covid times! Rest of the room is visibly dirty around door knobs and temp controls, and to top it off the tv doesn’t work! I have never written a bad review before, but this warrants it!

Nice hotel, not too far and not to close

We've stayed at this hotel on two trips now. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff are always nice. Within walking distance to everything in the F.Q. but far enough away to have a quiet stay.
