The Mirage can hurt and abuse you and get away with it!!
On my most recent visit to the casino - Mirage in Las Vegas, I was terribly mistreated and abused. I had gotten an invite from the casino to attend a slot tournament and upon seeing there was a waiting line to play in the tourney I decided to play some slots. About 15 minutes of playing went by when I was approached by some security people asking for my ID - when I showed them my ID they got very rough and said I had to leave. Of course I asked why-- what have I done- they would not tell me. Soon after this, one of the security guys grabbed my arm and twisted it til I fell to the ground in pain. Once i got up--and cashed out my ticket---about 6 security guys followed me off the property. The head security manager told me he would tell me what I did once I left, but upon leaving he admitted he lied and would not tell me anything. I have suffered with my sore shoulder since then and I still have no idea whatsoever why I was so rudely escorted off the property.-- update-- 12-2-23 -- to this date no one from the Mirage will reply to me and tell me why i was treated so badly and kicked off there property -- also -- all the comps i had earned have all disappeared!!! i am furious--but what can i do???

A faded experience
Booked a two-night stay at the Mirage, expecting a hotel collection experience with Amex. Unfortunately, the facility didn't live up to that expectation. Pros include a clean room and comfortable beds, but the cons were significant. Soiled and dingy carpets, a room view with broken glass and uncollected beer glasses on the accessible partial roof. Additionally, our request for two additional towels resulted in one with a quarter-sized blood stain and another seemingly the oldest towel available. Due to these issues, we checked out a day earlier.

Such a good stay!!
Very pleasant stay and it smells so good when you walk through the doors. Loved the lushness of the entry to casino area, there’s a waterscape with palm trees and a small waterfall. The rooms were good sized, comfortable, clean and well stocked with towels and countertop amenities. We had two rooms booked for our group, both double queen beds with a view of the strip. The resident Cirque show, Love, set to the music of the Beatles was so good. The portions at breakfast cafe are huge and very filling! All of the restaurants on property were terrific. It’s Vegas so you are going to spend more on food than you would back home but that’s to be expected. Unfortunately this resort will be replaced soon and that’s really a shame, this is such a nice property.
