Back again to aquamarine. Great service at front desk well looked after upon our arrival. So nothing much has changed since last visit although a couple of minor niggles on room are NO miniature bottles in fridge now nor small samples of toiletries. Still find outdoor activities during the day to be far to noisy for an adult only comlex Al la carte resturants STILL serve just warmed food,this needs to be addressed as nothing about this problem has changed for us in 5 years Apart from these small niggles once again excellent vacation.

Our room was very tired, needed updating, staff were unpleasant and sometimes rude, food was gross except breakfast which was ok, gift shop tried to rip us off by $75 and felt quite threatened when we queried it. Definitely would not return

I spent my vacations from 8/26/2023 through 9/2/2023 at Bahia Principe Aquamarine only Adults in Punta Cana, RD. I would like to congratulate all the hotel employees and staff for their good work and providing us with a first class service. Especially, the buffet employees for being so pleasant and I should mention one of them, Alberto who is very nice to me. Also, I would like to congratulate the entertainment hosts, Joel and ones, the shows presented, which were all to my linking every night. The pool bartenders so professional and nice. Conclusion, all have a 10 from me and was very nice. Congrats, Betty Lorenzo.

Wouldn’t visit again.
My husband and I stayed at the aquamarine in June 2023. The room was outdated and old. But doable. The food was, well, not good. We ate at 3 of the specialty restaurants. M.E.A.T. It was extremely hot. No air conditioning to be seen. It was 100° that day. Everyone was in there dripping sweat. All the patrons looked around fanning them selves like what is happening. I got sick (not from the food but from the heat). The Italian restaurant was also extremely hot (not as bad as M.E.A.T but bad). Everyone kept asking to please make the A/C cooler. The Mexican restaurant was warm of course but it’s outdoors on the beach. So understandable. I think that was actually the COOLEST place we ate at. Service was not good here. We waited about 35 minutes for desert and ended up just leaving. I understand guest of the “luxury” properties here paid a premium. It’s understandable to have special things just for those guests. But it would be nice to be able to utilize the coffee shop if you’re staying in the grand properties. Or give us our own coffee shop. All of us had to use coffee machines in the lobby and it was absolutely awful. I tried it twice and after one sip had to toss. I was very cranky for this trip 😂. The coffee at the buffet wasn’t that much better but I survived. The food at the buffet was not great. And the drinks were even worse. We certainly weren’t on a mission to get drunk but after drinking all day in the sun.. we never even felt buzzed 🤔. It also seemed they skipped over us until the regulars who spoke the language were taken care of. I tipped every time. You could not get a frozen drink anywhere. Well, unless you paid for it on the beach and got the pina coladas poured into the pineapple. That they used a blender for. But no where else. We said that was the best drink we had the whole time. No frozen daiquiris no frozen pina coladas etc. I drank margaritas it was lemonade (even the bottle said lemonade) not a margarita. I don’t understand how people come here over and over again. I also don’t understand how they expect to sell you a timeshare when this is the service you get? The room had 2 working outlets. One where the coffee pot was plugged in and one in the bathroom. Only places we could charge our phones. We tried to turn the lamp on by the balcony and it wouldn’t turn on. When we looked at the plug it was burned and so was the outlet. The beach was beautiful. And there was a good amount of loungers (you have to walk down a little further not a big deal). We would not come back here.

Amazing holiday 2023
This is my second time i visit Dominican Republic. Fantastic place, amazing weather, wonderful holiday. Great food with so many specials. So many attractions around. The only one little point is a stuff little bit chaotic. I've got the experience from the first time I was here. Everyone kept smiling and I could see them always happy. But doesn't effect the time I spent in your resort. Thank you so much and see you soon. I'll be back 😃
