    Wouldn't stay again

Location: is decent as it's in-between all the attractions. Food: is terrible, same thing every single day. Rooms: Not bad, if you have an issue in the room they will take days to fix and resolve. Service: The only place that has top service is offered at the pool bar by all the guys. Highlight Rasta and Sean. Massive shout out to "Slim Jim" the DJ .. played amazing music daily. If he is playing at the score bar in the evening you must go. Lobby: Benny only serves you drinks if you tip him over 10 dollars daily, we understand tipping is the way forward but considering it's an all inclusive 10 dollars a day is a tad too much. Julianne is very good. Overall, would not stay again as this hotels dated, some staff require further training, food is pretty poor.

    Well below average for Marriott.

Jermaine our butler (event coordinator/concierge) is the saving grace of this place. Pool and beach area- A. Hotel room, average- B Bathroom shower, intermittent - D Outside shower at pool - dangerously slippery, seen people slip and fall -F Diamond club lounge - D. Not half as good as a standard Marriott M club. Restaurants - lots of choices, just overall below average. I’m lifetime titanium w Marriott. I struggle to understand how this is a Marriott property. I’ve been to most of the Caribbean islands, first and last time here.

It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been A LOT BETTER.

The front desk staff were amazing and the Lobby bartenders were top tier. Berry, Julian, Tavan & Jovi-Ann provided us with wonderful service and great drinks that had us coming back night after night for a good time. Also, the swim up bar staff was excellent too; Maurice, & Jevaughn along with others provided us with wonderful service and drinks as well. All of the bartenders were the highlight of our stay at the Royalton. However, as far as the resort it's self. Housekeeping was good, my only complaint is the inconsistency with stocking the room with needed supplies and the lack of changing bedding. My room had issues with the water, my water in the shower cut off numerous of times and the Air Conditioner had stopped working for a short period of time. We did receive the run around about being accommodated at the restaurants on the resort. We were told that we had to pay $30.00 per person (due to a large party of 26 people ) to eat at the restaurant that was already included in the initial price that covered our stay. Another family who had a total of 27 guests was accommodated without any additional payment. We also tried to set up a family dinner on the beach which we had met with the General Manager of food & beverage (Filipe) and he was supposed to get back with us about it but failed to do so. He told us that we can eat at the main dining hall together instead, which we had done so the entire time; we just wanted something more nice and intimate for our final night in Jamaica. We also received a $300.00 credit to each room upon booking, that we had limitations on what we could use it towards. Nobody mentioned the $300 credit to us upon arrival it wasn’t until the end of the week we were notified about getting a coupon that we can use. It was impossible for us to use the entire $300, with so many limitations and within a short amount of time. Finally, the life guards leave the pool at 5pm, per the sign posted outside of the pool . The pool is still open but it is swim at your own risks. We were kicked out of the pool due to a wedding reception going on near the pool. It was unfair to my family and I because we paid to stay on a all inclusive resort just like the other family and we should have been able to enjoy ourselves without any restrictions because of someone else's event. Overall, the resort isn’t a bad place to stay at while in Jamaica but I do believe they should adjust some things to improve their customer’s experiences.

I lost a 22k gold earrings on the ist of my 6th day stay. Within 1/2 hour of recognition of loss between room to conference room it was reported to lost and found and security. No concern or follow up given. No retrieval of item. Unable to get appointment to dine at zen as all spots always filled in advance. Food bland. Poor service at front of main food area. Big tub in room an obstruction when switching off lights and maneuvering walking to bed. Room generally hot ,ac not really functional Upside generally modern and private gallery

    Not bad but not impressive

Beaches is stunning white sand and water warm, no seaweed but a little windy, sands are blowing in your face and eyes constantly and can get hurt like sandstorm sometimes (not that bad) Foods options are poor , not fresh fruits at buffet place compare to Cancun and closed too early by 10.30 am and reopens at 12.30 pm (2 hours break). Staffs at bar area can drink and get drunk and more entertaining most to younger girls like they were having party together. You can ask for water or drinks will take them a long time to serve you. They are so unorganized at the beach bars. We tipped waitress once and you never see her walking back ask us for drinks again for all day long when the beach is not busy. Zen staff (one guy) was so aggressive asking for tip (in joking way) This is will be my last time in this place. I have been to Royalton resort around 10 times and can compare the difference. I missed the one in Cancun (Royalton splash)
