    Excellent Staff & Beautiful Resort

Beautiful resort, delicious food at multiple restaurants, and friendly & accommodating staff… highly recommend! Special shout outs to Maximo (preferred club bartender), Sammy Sosa (preferred club pool bartender), Cristofer (waiter @ Olio) & Poche (waiter @ Bourdex). All the workers go above and beyond but these individuals were who we mingled with & saw the most throughout our stay. My husband and I felt cared for every moment during our trip.

    Relaxing locale

Stayed here on a couples vacation in June 2024. It’s a beautiful resort property with plenty of space to spread out. We upgraded to the preferred club when we checked in, because we really wanted access to the extra pools and the lazy river. Did have to get up and reserve a bed by the lazy River by about seven in the morning, or the pickings were slim. Overall staff is very attentive and kind, however, if you have a specific need such as my husband and his dairy intolerance, be prepared to either speak a little Spanish or not eat all the food that you suspect may have dairy in it. we found that in the specialty restaurants and in the buffet that most of the service wasn’t really able to understand what a dairy allergy or intolerance was. I had to explain in my limited Spanish-special shout out goes to Wascar, who was the only person of the wait staff who was able to help us with this in the four days we were there. we enjoyed the swim up bars, however found that we really didn’t enjoy the sugary mixed cocktails, or frozen drinks. We were much better off getting a vodka soda with a squeeze of lime, or gin and tonic. The buffet had plenty of options and the food was pretty good, fresh with tons of choices. Always plenty of seating as well. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, and there was plenty of space to hang out in the lobby, if we wanted to get out of the heat or just sit at a table and play a game with a cocktail or a glass of wine. we came for relaxation and we got it. The rooms are a little outdated, and I have to admit our bathroom shower was not fully clean because there was a giant hairball on the floor and goop on the walls, along with someone else’s hair elastics. The vanity mirror in that room was also broken, but still functional. if you were on a floor with rooms above you, then you’ll be able to hear people moving furniture or lounge chairs, but seemed that people were courteous enough to not do it at night. We sleep with noise machines, so we were able to get sleep. Overall, the cleanliness of the resort was good though, better than our shower! we had a room with a private pool, but honestly didn’t really use it that much because we spent most of our time by the preferred club pools and lazy river. Bring your own float if you decide to go. Be aware if you decide to go to the beach, there is going to be seaweed, as well as solicitors trying to get you to go to their shops down the beach. We were not interested in shopping and just really wanted to walk and enjoy the scenery, and it wasn’t really possible because solicitors kept approaching us asking for our business. I understand that they have to make a living somehow, but I felt it was very intrusive. We ended up not spending too much time at the beach. Overall, a good and relaxing vacation, and just what we needed.

Outstanding Service, People, Food, Accomodations, Spa & More

Overall this resort is Amazing. We gave it a 9/10 only for a few items we felt were lacking or we didn't really like, Buffet Food was great but could use more variety. However, the dining options at the restaurants where great. The Spa was amazing. Pools and Lazy River was both relaxing and full of fun. This is a place I look forward to visiting again.
