General policies & fine print
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. of the remaining nights.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

Entertainment personnel were great!
Annie was great and very friendly. She always made you feel included and important. Our trip was during non-peak season so we felt we had the whole resort to ourselves. Make sure to book reservations early as they fill quickly. Food was very good at the restaurants. The buffet food was good but never changed. Our concierge delivered a few empty promises and failed to deliver the bottle of wine he mentioned. We also had to confirm our departure ourselves even though he was supposed to take care of it. The most disappointment we had was with the sales pitch that occupies two hours of your time. We said we weren’t interested but were guilted into attending. It is for some, but not most. Overall it was a good experience.

The food is amazing, so is the service
Love the place. By far the best food and service we ever received. But I don't like the location, meaning if you love beaches, this is not for you..this resort is only for tge pool lovers. That's one thing I didn't like, no swimming in the ocean, high waves...but the rest is amazing

Fabulous Resort!
Great resort. The service is impeccable. Everything beautiful! Our butlers Robert and Cesar were especially great. Elizera (server) also great! Isis and Josephine also helped to make our trip special! We were very pampered!

Relaxing
The hotel was very clean and beautiful! It was a perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation! The staff was very nice. A special shout out to our butler Salvatore he was awesome! Also a special out to black cloud he has a great personality and very funny!

Grand Bavaro 2023
Started out rough but ended so nice. We went to the Grand Bavaro September 2023 our room was very nice however they were doing construction on the rooms right below us so it was noisy and the smell of paint made it so we couldn't stay in our room. After a few days we asked to be moved which we were right away to a much quieter room then the trip really started to be fun. The people are so welcoming and you talk to them for a few minutes and you feel like you have known them for a long time. Camila and France in the star prestige office were absolutely amazing. Angel who is also in star prestige is a guy who is willing to do just about anything to make sure you are having a great time. Our butler was Eduardo there is only one word I can use to describe him and that is FANNINGTASTIC. He made sure we had everything we needed all the time it was like he didn't take time off lol. The beach area was simply gorgeous the sand was so soft and nice very little seaweed and was easy to go into and out of the ocean. Augusto and Hamlet were so attentive and always had a cabana ready for us after lunch. If you go to the resort you wont be disappointed. The food was good and I have food allergies and they took very good care of my dietary needs.
