20th wedding anniversay & family memories
A great family trip. The views are amazing. Characters are scheduled daily. Utilize the app for information. Restaurants are expensive. However, just across the road from hotel (walking distance) is other restaurants and shops. The beach, and pool area is really fun! The "Disney" entertainment style Luau on site is great. Overall great family trip. Very expensive for a family of 4 in my opinion. But, its Disney and it is worth it. Its something for everyone.

Loved every minute
What can I say… Aulani is amazing. It is a Hawaiian resort with a touch of Disney. If you come here looking for full on Disney explosion, this will not be it! Characters appear throughout the morning and afternoon. There are activities for the kids and events you can sign up for. The pools are awesome, especially the lazy river. We stayed in a one bedroom ocean view villa- so much space for a family of three to hang out without being on top of each other. Having a full kitchen and two bathroom areas was so nice. The resort is right across the street from boutique shopping, a convenience store with meals, and restaurants. The beach/lagoon is calm and beautiful and a short walk to a few other gorgeous beaches. Beware the price of food at the resort is outrageous and adds up quickly so it will be smart to make a trip to the store or see if there is grocery delivery available. Having said that, we did enjoy Off the Hook restaurant, sunset dinner at Ama Ama, and Ulu Cafe. Our dinner at Makahiki was “okay”. We are returning in November and December for more Aulani magic!

Aulani
A friend and I went to walk around here. Could never afford even 1 night here. Looks like a beautiful place to stay. The pools and lazy river looks refreshing. We bought some items from the gift shop. It used to be a 2 hour validation for parking if you spent over $50 in gift shop or a restaurant (was there last year). Well, that's been cut down to only 1 hour which was disappointing.

I loved It!
This was my first time to Aulani. My wife had stayed here a few years ago and said it was great. Being a skeptic, I thought it was probably half as great as she thought it was. Nope. It was everything she said it was and more. From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, the cast members treated us with true island courtesy. The resort itself offers so many things to do and if you want to just lay on the beach, it's a beautiful place to do it. Many food choices from quick eats to gourmet dishes all within the resort. We are now looking forward to returning in 2024.

Poor services for an otherwise beautiful resort
I would not recommend this resort after staying. When you pay to stay at a resort, for resort amenities, I would expect better service. It is ridiculous that any pools or services close at 5. After a day of exploring I expect to be able to use a pool or hot tub at my leisure. This is why you pay to stay at a “resort”. It is also ridiculous that a child cannot swim in a pool with a snorkel or a toy that literally measures 4 inches long. I witnessed my children as well as other children being told they could not play with toys. None of the children were causing issues. I have also never stayed at a resort where you could not have a cocktail in a pool. The life guards are militant in enforcing rules that prevent people from enjoying their stay. I would NOT consider another Disney property after this stay. The resort is beautiful when they allow you to use it.
