Animal Kingdom
Just watching the kids have a good day is fun. thank you Disney for military discounts to get in the door. Lots of shade during the hot day. The rides are fun and the kids are that much more fun to watch

Best resort stay ever
We had originally booked a different resort. However a week before, we received a call to let us know we were getting a complementary upgrade to the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a savannah view. This is the best resort we have ever stayed at. The pool was great, my granddaughter must have gone on the side 30 times. We loved everything about it.

Fourth visit and as AMAZING as ever
We LOVE this hotel and this was our fourth stay - an epic 12 nighter! We have no frame of reference but I imagine all Disney World hotels to be amazing. This one certainly is. Every time we're planning a trip, we toy with staying some there new but then always end up staying back here. It's the lowest cost "deluxe" hotel and it's great. The pool is great, reception is breathtaking - themed for the African Savannah and the biggest bonus is the ON SITE safari and African animals. You could spend days here without even having to go into the parks to keep the whole family entertained. Boma, the African themed buffet restaurant is incredible and The Mara, their lower cost fast food place is great too. On a trip back in 2019 we tried their gourmet al a cart, Jiko, which I remember being brilliant too. As you'd expect, all the perks for staying at Disney Hotel are great and all the transport options are good. This hotel offers busses to all the parks and Disney Springs. If I had one gripe, it would be that sometimes the busses don't seem too regular back to the hotel. But that's a small thing. I can't wait to stay again!

Less than average hotel
Resort is beautiful. Front desk is less than helpful. Stayed on the 5th floor. Tried to enter 5th floor laundry twice during our 11 day stay, both times told we should be able that the card reader was broken.. Gave us a special key card just for laundry..Nope. Third time I was told 5th floor laundry is only for DVC.. Beware if staying on 5th floor, you have to lug your laundry to the other side of the hotel on the 1st floor where the washers are either broke or don't work correctly. This resort DID NOT have the Disney magic. Wouldn't stay here again..

Lovely hotel
Lovely resort hotel, with nice communal areas and really helpful staff. Rooms were very average, I would say they were on par with a mid range hotel. Clean enough, although lots of dust under the beds (which were very high so the dirt could be seen as soon as you entered the room). So much plastic (cups, cutlery etc etc) which, given the conservation message isn’t great (it’s seems Florida as a state (perhaps the USA generally?) had a huge problem with single use plastic, quite sickening. Noisy, being Disney people are up early and banging around, wandering up and down corridors making a lot of noise. If you want a lie in (past 6am! bring earplugs). Pools were great, very clean and lots of lifeguards on duty. We had a Savannah view room, quite nice watching the animals, although I’m not sure it’s worth the extra as there are plenty of options to look at the animals around the resort. Transport was great to and from the parks. I would stay again.
