Amazing all-inclusive resort!
The most beautiful resort and views. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped on board the boat to the island. True luxury experience. The food, service, and accommodations we top-notch. We will definitely be back!!
We had a great time, the hotel is beautiful and clean. Very scenic - it does not feel like you’re in Cancun. The food was amazing. Top notch service all around especially our butler Wedizon as well as Austin, Emmanuel, Jose, Julio and Erik. The bike tour with Abraham is also worth doing.
So fun and happy!!
Wonderful resort. Very friendly We loved all the activities and the staff that ran them. Our favorites were Abraham and Ivanna. So pleasant and helpful. Always a good time. We highly recommend this resort for the beauty and entertainment. Everyone here works hard to keep it beautiful
Everything We Could Have Possibly Wanted
My wife and I got back late Saturday night from a 4 day/3 night stay (Wednesday to Saturday) to celebrate our 20th anniversary and wanted to share my thoughts. For some context, we are not super well travelled and my wife and I grew up working class! The short of it is that we had a FANTASTIC trip! We absolutely loved our time at Impressions Isla Mujeres. We had read a few reviews that had us a little concerned (this trip was easily the most we've spent). But as we settled in my wife and I found ourselves looking at each other and almost laughing saying "what were they talking about!!??" The transfer was seamless (although I will say that we were picked up by a boat...not a yacht or catamaran...and it was 'fine'). The service from the time we stepped off the boat was great to excellent (Martin was our daytime butler and Erick was our night time butler). We didnt ask for much, but anytime we did, it was almost immediately responded to. If service is better than this, I honestly don’t know if I’d want that level of attention? That would seem annoying to me? Food was very good to great...we ate at La Vista (breakfast and lunch...I liked the fish tacos), Mercado (the burger I ate while laying under an umbrella on the dock was fantastic), Wildfire (lobster mac was very good), Spezia, Unik for breakfast. Wait staff was attentive and most were VERY friendly (and you can tell they were trying to provide high levels of service through some language barrier issues). Our first night we spent at Spezia and had a great meal. We ordered dessert and it came with a nice presentation with the words "happy anniversary" written in chocolate...just a nice little touch. We LOVED our Ocean Front w/hot tub room! As we read here before, the hot tub itself wasnt super warm after a few hours of it running, but I texted Martin and he responded right away saying that he'd take care of it...and he quickly did it...it was fixed by the time we got back from dinner! We were good to go for the rest of the trip. One "ding" is that our room was only cleaned once and turned down for night once (in fairness, they knocked twice but we were napping in the late afternoon). We were just a little surprised that they didnt clean during the day when we were out. The resort is BEAUTIFUL. We were told that they were at 50% capacity. So while the resort isnt a big one, we NEVER felt crowded or rushed to do anything (be it a space by the pools or rooftop or restaurants, or the dock). This was honestly one of my favorite things about Impressions! We were never ever "jockeying for position". We basically did whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted, wherever we wanted...it was really nice to be able to do that. We found several beautiful, less travelled “nooks” that were empty, so we had these spaces to ourselves. Felt very luxurious. But when we wanted to be a little more social, we moved to the main pool where we had some really friendly conversations with some couples who were also having a great time. We even chatted with a couple who we have mutual friends with! A few things to note. The General Manager, Mourad was very present...it was impressive actually. He and head butler introduced themselves to us within the first few hours of being there and gave us his card and told us "if there is anything we can do to improve your stay, let me know". We then saw him in the early morning when we were having breakfast and then at 10pm as we were the last couple in Wildfire. He was very kind and very interested in the guests there. Each time we passed him he engaged with us and asked about our experience. We felt really served...We tipped pretty heavily (at least we think/hope we did). My wife made the joke that they were going to call me Senor Cinco by the time the trip was over. So maybe that made a difference? But we dont think so. Everyone seemed to be well taken care of! And the people we talked to were having a great time. One lasting impression was that we were ready to leave...we had just finished lunch and were making the slow decent down to the Yacht Club to prepare for departure. A very friendly bartender whom we hadnt seen greeted us. We had about 10 minutes until the boat left. He said "we have plenty of time, I insist, sit down" and pulled two chairs at the bar, walked behind the bar...we sat and he said "Welcome!". That was really cool to me...here we are leaving and he is welcoming us and pouring us drinks! Final thought. I saw some reviews that said "not worth it for the price point" (or something to that effect). Maybe that is true. Maybe it's not actually "worth it" dollar for dollar (most luxury things aren’t actually “worth it”)...BUT...we certainly didnt keep score and WANTED FOR NOTHING. Every possible thing we wanted out of this trip, we got. Warm ample service, great food, plenty of space, clean rooms, luxury ambience, surrounded by kind people, etc. We had a 10/10 experience.
Best place we’ve stayed in Riviera maya
Amazing. New, clean, stylish. Great food at every restaurant. The Japanese restaurant, Sake, was our favorite. Fredy was hilarious. And Omar was amazing too. No matter who you get, though, it’s great. Rent a golf cart and check out the town, but you never really have to leave the resort
