Last minute get away. Just finished a 3 night stay at the Secrets Vallarta Bay. It was a very relaxing mini vacation. Friendly staff and nice food options. Best part of the trip was our last dinner at the French restaurant Bordeaux. Large menu and loved all the appetizers we had along with braised short ribs and the tenderloin, which is a must try, if you plan to stay here. Most of all, it was the exceptional service provided by our server Ernesto. Okay, now the downside. I keep getting bit by something throughout my trip. The bed was uncomfortable, as I did not wake up refreshed. The beach was very rocky, and the waves were very hard. Would I come back? Yes, definitely!

Amazing, unforgettable experience
We had an amazing vacation. Our butler Carlos Miranda was able to answer questions about the resort and how to travel outside the resort. Every employee we came in contact with was helpful. We felt special here. It was a great experience and our first time at an all inclusive resort. We would love to go back.

Simply Amazing!
The best trip we’ve taken in a long time! Simply magical. The food, service, room, atmosphere… all top notch. We stayed in the preferred club and that was the BEST decision. The all day buffet and bar in the preferred club lobby was so convenient and nice. We had our own butler during our stay, Carlos, who was both extremely kind and very attentive. We were able to text him with any requests and he was so fast! Jose and Moncerrat also helped out and were excellent. The entertainment staff out by the pools were fun and so kind! And all of the wait staff in every restaurant and poolside were amazing. The food was delicious! The breakfast buffet and Tamarindo (Mexican restaurant) were our favorite spots. Spent a week in May 23 with my husband and close friends! Had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort!!
Secrets Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful resort! The accommodations and the staff were outstanding. Our butlers Carlo, Richardo and Oscar were there to meet our every need. The food, the pools and rooms were spectacular along with all wait staff! Highly recommend!!

This is a typical Secrets hotel - very modern, clean, excellent staff. We were pampered by our butler, Carlos Miranda and his associates Jose Becerra and Moncerrat Ornelas, because we paid to upgrade to a master suite, which includes a lovely swim-up pool. The location right off the pool/beach area allowed us to enjoy everything without being in the middle of anything. The Preferred Club staff (including the barmen, Liz, Ricardo, attentive room attendants, etc.) did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome while not interfering with our restful vacation. The only downsides to this property are (1) a beach that is not very walkable; it is quite steep and the waves are strong (but otherwise lovely for viewing, very clean and no seaweed); and (2) we did not particularly enjoy the evening food in the 5 restaurants; not sure if it is ingredient quality or recipes. Breakfast and lunch in Market Cafe and elsewhere on the property are always outstanding. You will not go hungry.
