A lot of fun in one place!

Courteous staff, clean facilities, with everything you may want or need close by. Easy check-in, steps to the Strip, and the best location for T-Mobile Arena.

    Great experience

If you want to experience the night life of LV ( dancing at Hakkasan across the street) this is a great hotel to stay at. However, don't expect to sleep in or to have afternoon naps as you can hear the roller-coaster.

Best & Nicest Reasonably Priced Casino on the Strip!

I've stayed at many of the Las Vegas hotels from Freemont St. to the Strip. The irony of this hotel/casino is that is carries the name of one of the most "hectic" cities in the world, yet one of the most relaxed and friendly hotels on the strip. The rooms are very nice.. and they have a fun, NY vibe to them, but they are not to the "rich style" of, say, Aria. For older people or people with mobility issues, the casino floor is one of the smallest of all the MGM properties, but there's no limit for the variety of table games and slots. They do a great job with providing a nice variety. I promise the VERY BEST steak in Vegas is from Gallaghers in NYNY. And they have awesome Asian food with Chin Chin, and incredible Mexican food at Gonzalez y Gonzalez! For a breakfast that EASILY feeds two, America is EXCELLENT!! They have Nine Fine Irishmen and an Italian restaurant as well, but I found the food at Nine not very good (Fish and Chips tasted like they ladled the fish and fries out of the deep fryer with all the oil in it.. no attempt to shake the deep fryer oil off any of it). The Italian restaurant was "okay". But Gallagher's IS positively the best steak (and excellent sides) in Vegas... America has GREAT breakfasts... Chin Chin is awesome for for Sushi and other Asian dishes.. and the Mexican food at Gonzalez won't disappoint you! When it comes to hotel staff, they are very friendly, courteous and responsive to needs. They very much CARE about you and your visit! But I should say that this is a very typical response from the MGM resorts. I typically find MGM casinos are a level higher than the other big casinos when it comes to a few things: guest care & consideration, value, amenities, and rewards program. I recommend NYNY for a very pleasant stay, plenty of gambling options, and excellent food!! Rooms are very nice, but not extravagant. The spa suites have huge hot tubs in the room (very clean, nice, and relaxing).. and showers have a ton of pressure! Casino has everything, really easy to navigate (unusual for most Vegas casinos), and excellent rewards. One side note.. if you want to get in and out of Vegas (flying) quick/easy/cheap, NYNY and MGM Grand are my favorites for easy access to the airport.

Room was dirty upon making entry with our luggage. No hot water at times. Had to ask for an ice bucket, didn't have a fridge
