Planet Hollywood Cancun resort gets a 6/10. We stayed on the adult only star class side. The room was beautiful. We were provided with 2 butlers Daniel and Colin. Our butlers were great! They helped a lot with scheduling dinners, keeping us updated with daily activites, and answered any questions we may have had. We went from Friday- Tuesday. There wasn’t much night life at all. There was only 1 club open until 2am and they didn’t have a good variety of music. In order for us to request a song we had to pay $5 per song. Our group didn’t quite enjoy the food throughout the resort. Although there’s a large quantity of food to choose from, the quality of the food was very bad. The best thing we ate was the breakfast omelette in So Cal. There also wasn’t any food open late for the adults drinking liquor. A food stand or food truck would have been nice.

Entertainment and staff were amazing! Especially Benjamin at the adult pool bar 😂 everyone got involved! Rooms were great! Everything we needed! Loved the club! Was so much fun. DJ played really good music! Would definitely come again! Made so many friends and laughed from start to finish! 🫶🏼 If you get chance to do an excursion then Explor was absolutely insane! You definitely have to buy the photo package. Thanks for having us!! X

Amazing entertainment workers!
The entertainment workers here have been the best! Totally makes the experience 10x better ! The workers I loved the most were Benjamin, Luisa, Anahi and Angel. At any place i have been at i’ve never had such amazing and friendly workers.

Girls trip
The entertainment crew was amazing! Chocolate man, Luisa, Annhi were such a great time! Eric at the castaway bar makes fantastic drinks...ask for his specialty; strawberry kisses. Janet was my favorite server!

Nov 27, 2023Family friendly, less suited to friend groups
- No double bed rooms were available despite requesting this for two days -Room was clean, spacious, variety of supplies - Easy order of room service by your TV, they call to confirm after ordering and you can pre-order breakfast if you have an early pick up -Easy to get lost as all buildings look the same. Insufficient signage / maps - Not advertised clearly enough about daily activities so things get missed. Staff set up for a party and no one attended as it wasn't clearly advertised ! - Restaurants don't have opening hours by them so unclear which are for lunch or dinner without checking on TV in your room - No drinks menus at the bar. Unclear which cocktailds are available. Bartender looked at me like I was an alien when asked for a pornstar martini - Good replenish of toiletries daily lifts are a bit slow, bit anxiety provoking for those with a fear - Wifi is great. Signal even reaches the beach - Shower drains smell a bit in morning. And the water in the sink and shower comes out yellow at times - Rooms must not be very soundproof as rain could be heard loudly within the room - Few electric/ plumbing faults. One bathroom mirror light not working, one sink doesn't hold water.. minor issues - Good variety of breakfast foods but limited Mexican foods ! - Restaurants busy 1900-2100 can't get in which is the time everyone wants dinner. People were queuing up for the steak restaurant from 17:40 and by 18:30 it was full for the evening - Very few floats for lazy river despite the photo advert showing many ! - Staff were a bit beggy for tips. Some became immediately stroppy when no tip despite doing nothing to deserve it - Great beach, people hog sunbeds even though they're told not to !
