Great For A Family!
The location was fantastic - the edge of the French Quarter without being completely in the madness of Bourbon Street, and parking was super easy with the valet. It was very easy to walk down to Jackson Square and to catch the street car to the Garden District. My room was quite spacious, which was nice. But it also felt a dark and all the lighting had a bit of a fluorescent blue hue to it, which gave it sort of a sad office feel (warmer light bulbs could probably help). Breakfast was confusing... the hotel says there is a sit-down a la carte option, which technically there is, but it isn't really a restaurant at that time. I think my family would have enjoyed a breakfast at one of the many nearby restaurants instead (Unfortunately my eggs were not good and I was charged for a cup of fruit that was supposed to come as a side for my dish. At that point I decided it was easier to pay the $6 for the fruit rather than track down a worker to have the charge removed, so that's on me). Other than the breakfast, my stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and all the staff members I encountered were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, and the Saturday DJ made the swim a lot more fun. This was a family trip, with an age range from 8-68, and we all found something we liked about the hotel.

Great location
The hotel is right at the end of Bourbon street and on Canal so easily walkable to everything yet very quiet and peaceful. Easy to access in Uber and there was covered valet with plenty of space to drop off comfortably. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Management was friendly and helpful, recognized customers and gave it a personal touch. The pool area is nice with comfortable loungers and shade, a bar with food and cocktails. The cafe downstairs for coffee and light breakfast and lobby bar was nice, food was good and service friendly. In the room there was kind of an old smell and we had a man's shirt left in the room and housekeeping came early morning the first day and the late check out wasnt updated in the computer which is why I didnt give it 5 stars. These wouldnt stop me from staying there again if the price was good as the location is ideal but I wouldnt pay a premium because it is amazing for the area.

Great customer service.
Check in was a breeze. The on site restaurants offer delicious options and were very convenient. The courtyard and pool area offer peaceful and relaxing environment. The hotel is very well located in the French Quarter, pretty close to everything. The staff were friendly and wonderful. Kevin booked our tours and was extremely helpful in showing us how to navigate around town. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you!

Great Property; Clean, Safe and Friendly Staff!
We chose to stay at the Hyatt Centric during our visit to the French Quarters and it did not disappoint! The property is spacious, the lobby is nicely appointed and staff are friend and attentive. Hyatt Centric was no further than 10 minute walk for most of the activities we wanted to do in the French Quarter. Our room was very spacious with vaulted ceilings that had double/french doors that opened to a courtyard with a swimming pool. We spent one afternoon in the courtyard where we ordered food and drinks; we had a blast! They also have a nicely equipped gym with cardio machines and enough equipment to get a pretty good workout. Overall, the property looked to be in good condition, well maintained, clean and we all felt very safe at all times. I would highly recommend friends and families to stay at Hyatt Centric!
