Jun 02, 2023Absolutely Amazing!!!!!
Our experience at Secrets Rivera Cancun was AMAZING!!!!! It started upon arrival when we were taken to our room for check in and met Ambar our concierge. She was AWESOME!!! She took the time to listen to what we wanted from our stay there and helped in any way she could to make it happen. She reached out to us everyday...including her day off to make sure that we were good and if we needed anything. Truly an asset to this resort!!!! We are members of UVC and booked into tropical view swim out rooms. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We celebrated my birthday and mi suegro's birthday ( Thank you Fabian!!!) during our stay. They made each of our birthdays special!! We have been to other resorts within this chain, but this one really stood out to us because of the staff. We will try to mention everyone but if I leave someone out, I do apologize...Mar, our pool waitress who made sure our drinks were never empty, Bailey and Fabian, the pool concierges who helped me with my Spanish daily, Francisco at the Rosewater bar makes the best Mezcalita !!, the entire staff at the Rosewater restaurant from breakfast til close.....from the hostess to the servers...they made us feel like family and we had tears in our eyes when we had to say good bye our last day. To mention a few Lili the captain, Alex, Manuel, Jose, David were there to greet us every morning, Adan in the evening . Ramirez the sommelier helped set up my birthday dinner in the wine cellar which was memorable. Dayren and Samuel were with us in the wine cellar and could not do enough to make the night AMAZING!!!!! Luis in the Preferred Club would make me an "Angel Kiss" that was delicious. Last but not least Jaffett and Claudia with UVC would check on us daily to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We want to thank you all for making our stay truly memorable and there is not a day that goes by that we do not think of all our new friends we made during our stay. See you soon amigos!!!!

THIS is my favorite resort EVER!!!!
We originally booked at Breathless, but got upgraded to Secrets when we check in. Gorgeous, king room facing the ocean. It was so spacious and luxurious! Espresso and coffee machines in the room! Set ups to make cocktails (even martinis) and a fully stocked fridge that included snacks! We loved having access to the amenities at Breathless (restaurants, cafes, snack bars, party pool, etc.) but preferred the exclusiveness of our side. The Secrets side has an exclusive pool, restaurant, and bar that Breathless guests could not access. The pool area was gorgeous and so relaxing. The infinity edge was a show stopper and there were tons of beds- both in and out of the water- including large beds in the water. The gentlemen that served towels to guests actually helped spread them out on your bed of choice and even had pillows. The wait staff at the pool was the best I've had on any of my 20+ trips to all inclusive resorts. Mar was our favorite. She learned our names and drink preferences on day one. She treated us like we were guests in her personal home. We will definitely be back!!!!

Perfect holiday
My wife and I came here as a joint birthday/anniversary/second honeymoon. The hotel was lovely, room spacious and well equipped. All inclusive package was great especially as we could use all the restaurants and bars next door at Breathless. We personally thought the food and drink options were great. Highlight of the stay was the staff who were without exception the best staff I’ve ever encountered, polite and attentive. Special mentions to pool guys Fabian and Bailey, Edy and Angel from entertainment, Andres and Cesar for the pizzas and drinks at the beach bar, Francisco and Manuel from Rosewater and Luis from the Preferred club bar and Ramirez the wine sommelier. We loved it here and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful resort with excellent food and exceptional service staff
We had a few days for a quick getaway and this was a perfect place for that , all inclusive beautiful resort with good food comfortable accommodations and great service from the staff. Three specialty restaurants on site with great food but limited capacity

Best Company Offsite
I thought I wrote my review for here, but I guess not! Anywho, we hosted our company offsite here in October 2022 and had an incredible experience. We brought 200 employees in for 3 days of fun and even with the weather we made the best of it. The staff did an incredible job on turning night 1's beach party/dinner into an indoor happy hour and dinner in the conference hall (seriously fantastic), then on night 2 for our outdoor party by the pool the rain wasn't letting up so they allowed us to keep the hot tub open until 7pm because our employees had already taken it over and we didn't want to stop the party for them. Rafael worked his magic with the team and we transitioned it with passed apps, drinks, and music. I was in charge of planning the offsite and worked closely with Rafael Garcia the whole time, along with his incredible staff. The rooms were great, and constantly restocked and cleaned multiple times a day. I had an oceanfront swim out with a terrific view. My work colleagues were next to me on both sides so we had some late night parties and security was fine with it as long as there were no complaints. One downfall is the closing hours were very early so it was hard to get everyone together to continue hanging out/partying (which I completely get it given it's an all-inclusive and you don't want these people drinking 24/7 lol). They were very accommodating on getting us extra alcohol and beers to our rooms so we could host after hours. The spa was excellent and I went a couple times while I was there (one pre-event and one post event - highly recommend for any events director planning an event). The staff definitely took care of us! Looking forward to my next trip back!
