Jun 02, 2023Ruined our honeymoon
We where so excited to visit Mexico for our honeymoon. We choose this hotel mainly due to the kids club hosting children from 3 years for our little boy. So we could spend some husband and wife time together aswell as enjoy this as a family holiday. From the moment we arrived we had disappointment and upset from the start. They tried to put us in a down graded room which was worse than a hostel. We paid for the sun club sea view deluxe etc etc. If you wanted to see the sea from that room you'd have to hand out over the balcony. We got upgraded to a sea view and they tried to make us pay extra for this upgrade. It was dirty and smelt of mould but being one of the best rooms in the hotel we had no choice to stick with it. As for the food....we all where sick at one point during the holiday. It was bland and the same every night and my little boy hardly ate a thing. So much for a Mexican resort, not a tablespoon and guacamole on site. It was so over run, it was uncomfortable. If you weren't down for breakfast before 7:30am be prepared to queue for a good 30 mins to get sat down. The 30 minute warning to reserve Sun loungers was aload of rubbish, we saw people reserve them from 6 am so was near impossible to get a bed if you didn't join in the with the game. Weddings almost every night with very loud music right underneath our room with fireworks late at night waking us and our child up with rude guests not respecting other guests the day after. Don't bother paying for sunclub, not worth a single penny. Pricate beach wasnt gaurded and anyone could go on it and vendors bothered you constantly, hard to relax. My 3 Yr old learnt how to say "no gracias!" We had to say it that often. The kid club staff struggled to understand English, my very basic Spanish was better than their English so the communication between them and my son was really difficult and he came back very upset and not wanting to go back. He hurt himself badly the 2nd and last time we put him in due to lack of supervision and care. The pool was nice but the tiles were a danger, half missing and sharp, cut my toe. Entertainment was lacking, very basic. Lets end with the good: Most staff are very pleasant and friendly and the water park very fun for children All in all avoid this hotel at all costs, don't believe the good reviews which we did. Very disappointing for a Tui hotel, expected sooo much more for the amount we spent. Been deterred to travel by tui or to Mexico again.

It was amazing. Nayeli was amazing. Great staff definitely will come back for the scenery and her!!!!! my girlfriend made friends with her and she was bad ass!!!!!!!!! Recommend this resort for anybod

Excelent service by the staff. There’s always food around and daily activities to do. They’re all extremely nice and cheerful. The staff always makes the stay more welcoming and fun! Great thanks to Luis and Armando who entertain us with the activities and made the activities extremely fun. The Front Desk and the House keeping staff are always nice also.

The staff and activists crew are THE BEST in town!!! I went with my husband, father in law and two kids (2 and 6 months) We had so much fun doing the daily activities like water aerobics, basketball, Zumba and more. The two gentlemen who really made our trip are Neto and Luis. Every morning we’d be greeted by them and they would make a point to get to know us and invite us to join in. They are both amazing dancers!

Do not visit
Shocking , run down dirty bed linen shabby hotel, rooms smelt of mould sink taps loose. Mirror in lift propped up with a piece of polystyrene stay away. Food god rough once there were lots of Mexicans arrived for a public holiday.
