Sep 25, 202320th Wedding Anniversary Trip
Amazing trip! The bar staff was amazing at keeping us cool and hydrated. Enrique, Jose Luis, Alex, Rogelio, Miguel, Javier, & Francia! Wonderful people! They literally took such good care of us, not just because it was their job but because they genuinely cared for us and our experience. Once they found out it was our 20th wedding anniversary trip they made sure it was extra special!!

The photos show a very different place than what we got. We had the most upgraded room and it was AVERAGE at BEST not what I was expecting at all. The balcony was awesome. The beach water near resort is unswimable so we resorted to the pool which was nice enough. The “restaurants” are awful. The only good one was the Italian restaurant which again was not what I expected in Mexico. Being a part of the “sun club” we got no “premium alcohol” in our fridge as promised, in fact none at all but we called and we got offered beer(?) no premium alcohol was ever served to us in fact. The $200 resort credit is just coupons. My husband and I made the best out of all of the curveballs we were thrown but that was no thanks to the resort. The bell staff on the other hand was as helpful as they could be considering.

Not an adults only location. 2-3 kids for every adult at the pool. Unable to get a seat at the pool side bar as kids took the seats. No adults only sites. Food is ok but not amazing. Property is dated. Not a large property. Easy access to the beach. Staff is wonderful. Took the city bus to and from the airport.

Would never book with Westjet again for a vacation
This is the worst all-inclusive resort I have been to in Mexico. Where do I start, first the gym is terrible no better than a bad home gym. I have been here since saturday and I am still witing for my mini bar to be re-stocked.There is only 1 pool, the restaurants you have to line up for and you have to tell them your name and room number. In the future I will not stay at another sunscapes going forward. If i did not pay a huge amount to be here I would look at moving to another all-inclusive at either RUI or Barcelo.I am here for another 10 days. - -

This resort is older and in much need of maintenance. Food was in-edible, period. Choices were few and barely luke warm. Entertainment geared mostly toward children. Beach water was brown, not blue...
