    Disappointed -> Harrah’s Laughlin

    This property is tried. Carpets are stained and worn, seats in restaurant are cracked…..the place just looks old. Our room was fine but the feeling in the rest was not what we expected from a Caesar’s property and from the brand of Harrah’s. Our first impression was the elevator in the parking lot, one of them had a padlock on it and the other barely worked and it was dirty, very dirty. We will not return.

    a bad experience NOT worthy of a 'resort fee'

    Every aspect of this stay was a blatant money grab by Harrah's while not delivering much of any value. Let's start with: - the room had NO closet. None. In 30 years of weekly flying, I've never encountered this. Not a 'resort' experience! - they charged me an early check-in fee (I got there around 9 am and needed to get in to do some work) of $50. Then, they couldn't give me the kind of room I had reserved. So, I got one with a view of air conditioning units on the roof of the hotel. Again, not a resort experience! - I notice a cabinet at the entrance of my room where a fire extinguisher and fire hose are supposed to be. Neither protective device was there. I took a photo, went to the front desk and asked if this how Harrah's cares for the safety of its guests. The front desk employee said they'd look into it, took my room number and then NEVER contacted me as to what they found out. Again, NOT a 'resort' experience. I could go on but you get the point. This property just wants your money and doesn't want to put in the effort to give you the experience you deserve. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

    This place has the rudest employees. Especially at the Caesars Reward diamond desk , it seems we bothered her for a replacement card when she had no others in line. The casino smokey, stinky and looks dirty. Drink service is non existent. We won't return.

    Hidden Fee

    I can't believe Harrahs charges a $17 "call center fee" to register for a room when you call the hotel. I've stayed many times here and have never had this. They don't even tell you about it. They just tack it on after you have left. Kind of sneaky! I'm a Diamond member also. Overall the actual stay was nice.

    Don’t stay here.

    Harrah’s was a mess from the rudest checkin staff to the room with no toilet paper and even no shower door. I go 3 times a year and a decided to try Harrah’s. Worst mistake of the trip. Been a loyal total rewards member for years and a few hundred points to Diamond. Just a bad experience at this hotel. Casino was clean and nice:
