Won't be my 1st Choice, regardless of price!!
Many deal breakers: no USB plug-in. Used my laptop USB which I carried a 110 reg wall charge for laptop. no refrigerator no security lock latch or it was ripped off door part no room service, called 3 times, last time at 9pm just to pick up trash Unsatisfactory: no instructions on tv remote, had to call no instructions on phone buttons, had to push until front desk answered elevators dirty too much construction inside main area. Rate was cheap, so you have to decide!

What kind of hotel is this?
We booked this on a promotion. Three nights @ $56/night became a charge of $580 on our credit card in addition to the $65 deposit we’d paid. The check-in clerk at the front desk rudely explained she didn’t see anything on our booking about the promotional rate or the $30/day credit for food and drinks. We came back later, stood in line for about a half hour, and a far more helpful clerk explained there were outrageous taxes and fees charged on top of the $56 rate (false advertising!), and in addition, they put a security hold of $150 on our charge card.(!) The room was okay but very dated, but also without some of the amenities we’ve come to expect in this price range. No microwave, no coffee maker, no mini-fridge, no USB outlets for phone chargers, very few electrical outlets. Tiles on the bathroom floor has been cracked and not replaced. Windows were dirty. Then, good luck spending the $30/day credit. There were no restaurants — none — open on a Wednesday night — that accepted the credit. We tried to use it in one of the bars, and the bartender didn’t want to take it because, according to him, they don’t get reimbursed for the promotionals, so they would have to pay it out of their own pockets! The pools are only open until 6pm! How is that even possible? There is roughly zero to do in this resort except gamble, swim, go to shows, and eat. And when there’s no restaurant and no pool, it’s only gambling or shows. We talked with several disgruntled employees. Many seemed discouraged and angry that the resort was being so poorly managed. So if that’s what you’re into, go for it.

Fresh Blood in Bed
I booked a “Well fresh” room and there was fresh blood in the bed on the sheets. The was made completely and found when the comforter was pulled back. I will never stay here again. I did not feel like management took it seriously.

Table games dealer - Brad Smith is the best!
Bradley Smith was our blackjack dealer at the casino and he was amazing! He was so personable and we enjoyed hearing his stories and telling ours to him. We’re new to playing and he was so helpful in guiding us in the “right direction.” He needs a raise!

This hotel smells bad 🤢
I'm currently staying at the Luxor. All of the hotels including the Luxor have a 90s camping caravan smell anyway but Excalibur is really bad. Walked through there a couple of times. It's dirty, tired and smells of cat wee or old trainers everywhere. Shockingly bad. You can even smell it as you walk outside.
