Sep 26, 2023Nice resort, problems with room
Cold water was out with no warning for half a day (couldn’t flush toilet). Never received an update or info on what was happening or when it would be fixed from staff. Power completely went out in my friend’s room at one point and took almost an hour for maintenance to respond. “Secret box” cubbies lack a deadbolt/security lock and I was actually able to break into my room when I forgot my key even though the box was latched. Privacy (do not disturb) light is not visible in daytime and housekeeping completely disregarded whether it was on or not. I got no service the first two days when it was off (room was missing water, coffee, and tissues at check in) and they came in THREE times when it was on. Hand towels were taken and not replaced.

I will always recommend secrets! The best resort in Montego! You won't be disappointed at all Everything was so well put together and beautiful! I took a million pictures and videos! The staff took good care of me And my family! It was my bday and they made my special day extraordinary every single day

The resort was not very clean overall There was mold in the shower floor area The mosquitoes were horrible, and there were random cats near a few restaurants. There was no entertainment during the day

Horrible stay. Worst food ever, no service at bars, dirty room, and charged over $700 more than agreed to/reserved at check in. This hotel lost a lot of future business based on this one stay. I will not be approving any additional travel expense related to our BPO for our company to stay at Secrets.

15 Year Anniversary Trip
We stayed here to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff our very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and the spa was AMAZING!!! We'll definitely return.
