Great Family-Friendly and Diver-Friendly Vacation
We stayed at Iberostar Cozumel last week and the stay was fantastic. My family of 4 (2 kids) were part of a larger family group of 10. All of the restaurants were able to accommodate us. Diving with Dressel divers was a breeze having them right there on site. My family of 4 stayed in a family room which was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our visit and felt completely relaxed. We appreciate all of the staff's hard work around the resort, every person we saw was working hard. A special shout out to those who helped us celebrate my daughters birthday, and to the staff working Star Camp. We did not know much about Star Camp until we arrived - Rosa, Ismael, and Montse at Star Camp made my daughters week! Rosa, Ismael, and Montse were so patient, kind, and creative keeping the kids engaged and busy at Star Camp. My daughter loved going to Star Camp, some of her favorite activities at camp were pool games, making puppets/playdough/jewelry, and face painting! They even helped her celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a very relaxing beautiful family vacation, we highly recommend!
Beautiful resort staffed by excellent people!
Still buzzing off of the great time had by my family and I last week at this Iberostar location. Good food, beautiful resort grounds, but one of the best parts of the experience was the effort made by the entertainment team in making the trip memorable. Inviting and including all in opportunities to recreate or have some good ol' family fun. Daniella, Fabian, Luis, and Donovan, to name a few, really do their best to put smiles on the faces around the resort as they curate activities and kick off the shows on site. We really appreciated learning a bit of Spanish as they gave instructions and introductions in their native tongue before translating to English. We'll forever be calling our Padrastro (stepfather) Papa Plátano after his efforts in the Cocktail Party! Looking forward to our next trip to visit!
Love Iberostar Cozumel
Just got back from Iberostar Cozumel and can’t wait to go back again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in time was minimal. Room was comfortable and clean. Loved staying in a bungalow. Special shout out to Raymundo the bartender. Food was hit or miss however they do offer a nice selection. Loved the grill on the beach. Smokehouse was my favorite. Beach view was spectacular. Favorite location for divers and there were plenty of them. Dressel Divers have a facility on the pier and are extremely helpful. They offer a “scuba tryout” at the pool every morning. I recommend going with Dressel for both Scuba and snorkeling excursions, Need to bring water shoes. Can get buggy at night so bug spray is a must. Overall one of my favorite resorts in Mexico.
Great family celebration at Iberostar Cozumel!
We had a great time at Iberostar Cozumel. Situated right at some of the best diving, Iberostar did not disappoint. The entertainment crew was a surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities, water aerobics, volley ball, pictionary and beach yoga. Daniella, Fabian, Donavan and Louis worked hard for us and were fun and engaging. I wish I could remember the yoga instructors name because his class was one of the best I have taken. Our rooms were clean and nice and food was great.
