I've requested someone from corporate to contact me regarding my stay at the above listed property April 23rd thru April26th. It was completely disappointing from beginning to end. To be an ALL INCLUSIVE property this was the furthest from the truth. Nothing advertised about this property is TRUE except for the size (it is HUGE). Our Junior Suite had holes in the bedding (after advising management housekeeping came a changed the sheets and it was holes in those sheets as well). This resort totally shuts down at 11p, (I mean totally) no snack bar, no live entertainment, no fully stocked refrigerator, no room service, not to mention the television channels are ALL IN SPANISH (except for one channel) and lastly and employee of the hotel scammed us for money for an excursion that was free. This employee was booking hotel guest on the side for excursion and taking their money. The entertainment was a radio in the lobby, and one night a solo Saxophonist. I was contacted by someone who said they were a manager (but provided no contact information) no genuine apology and ONLY a free upgrade on a room upon us returning to their property.TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Who would pay to stay here AGAIN! I'm once again requesting a call from someone in charge to rectify this situation. Telephone number (773 567-2247, monae.drake@yahoo.com If you want an ALL INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Huge resort full of everything you'd need

The title says it all. This place is huge! You could easily stay here for your whole trip and still never be bored. I suggest the beach yoga available every morning! The rooms don't have many outlets (only two!) but no issues. I LOVE their green initiative- no single use plastics on the entire resort!

    Bait and switch beware!!!

Just checked in... Your booking site will say there is room service, coffee bar, coffee in the room, and much more. However, when you check in, you will find out they closed or stopped a bunch of services. Then they will offer for you to upgrade to the Maya for $160/ PER NIGHT! not, “oh sorry those services you paid for are closed, please use our facilities where we have it..... Then, you can go to the time share Concierge where they will offer you a discount on tours for taking a tour of the better property that has all of the amenities you thought you paid for. Save your time, and go to the professionals like RIU, Catalonia, Secrets, (insert anyone else).

    Amazing trip

I have visited many places and this is by far the nicest resort I have ever been too. I was blown away by the beauty and the service. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was great and boy do the employees work hard! They take pride in the landscaping. It's so beautiful. With that being said, I couldn't beleive how strict they are with masks. I was told it is based on the resort but there aren't a lot of timea where you don't have to wear one. Kind of made it hard to enjoy some things. The gym for instance, they could only be pulled down when on a machine and had to be worn in classes. I thought I was going to die. Didn't go back. Basically only free time would be at the beach or while you're eating. The workers wear them constantly while out in the heat! They could be by themselves cutting the grass and have one on.. Never are they off. I don't know how they don't pass out. I think it's ridiculous and over the top. The check in process/making dinner reservations took entirely too long, as did the covid testing. Getting sucked into a timeshare presentation for the hope of a free massage ended up not being so free and entirely not worth it. Wasted a lot of time where we could have been relaxing. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and very peaceful and relaxing. I do recommend just be prepared.

Great vacation, will be back for sure

The room is amazing and the food is delicious. The entertainment staff are very funny and interactive. Our group loved how attentive the staff were. Beach volleyball was a blast! Anahi, Pacquito and Zitlali had the best activities.
