· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.

    So I decided to take a solo trip in April and I had all intentions to just chill and relax. I personally wasn't excited about coming to the Suites as the pictures didn't excite me. I came and was given a room and I kid you not, I couldn't even step into the bathroom. The toilet was stained yellow and I requested a different room. I just couldn't do it. I quickly got a far cleaner room but I'll say, you guys REALLY need to update the rooms. Like it's THAT bad. Things really started to look up when I went on the sailboat with Polo. Super professional and chill individual. He was as calm as the ocean to me. After that he told me about the party boat which I went on and I met some hotel staff on there. Shannie and Suelyn who I believe works in the lobby were super accommodating and sweet especially since I was by myself. Particularly Shannie, girl I adore that you live in your truth and you asked me to do Snaps with you. You made me apart of the group and I wish you many many blessings in life my dear. Thank you. Doreen from the pool area is such a super sweet lady that offered me a drink. Raise her pay. Carlos the entertainer was who really did it for me. A true gentleman who accompanied me and made me feel more comfortable because I was alone for that trip. He introduced me to 3 awesome new friends from New York and for that I'm super grateful to him because I'm more on the reserved side. I ended up having the time of my life especially at the karaoke after party and I can say, this is the best trip I've ever been on. Food was meh but breakfast was BOMB. Once again thank you and continue to invest in your staff. They are carrying Iberostar on their backs.

    The great, the good, and the “we are out of beer”

    We were a group of 11 in our 40’s and 50’s. Upon arrival there is a lot of hand sanitizer and I do mean a lot. Check in is a longer process than I thought since I had filled everything out on line. And they are really trying to get you to listen to the time share thing. We had to say no thanks more than once. They did bring us drinks while we were waiting. I had been told not to hurry everything happens in a Jamaican minute, but I didn’t realize, its a VERY SLOW laid back atmosphere. Our room and porch were awesome. We went right to the beach and ocean the kayak people were out they were nice enough and took no for an answer very easily. We had the steak house for dinner, that was the slowest (worse) service of the WHOLE trip. Every morning we got up and hit the breakfast buffet at 730 and were at the pool by 9am every day. They frequently ran out of beer. I mean like 2/3 times a day every day. One of the workers told us they didn’t get enough from the warehouse....I don’t know.... The afternoon entertainment in the pool was fun. The shots were free flowing (cause no beer). The guy that filled our mini frig was awesome. He found me Coke Zero when he had said there just wasn’t any. Friday was the oriental restaurant it was so good Saturday was the Mediterranean place and it was okay. Sunday night we did the Jamaica buffet Biggest complaint the Beer running out Biggest success is the staff...Susie Odell Doreen Steve and our mini bar restock guy I don’t know his name.

    Wedding/Resort Review

    My family and I traveled for my wedding in April 2021. This resort is beautiful. The flowers, landscaping, and beach are so serene. We had a group of 60 people stay at the resort. There were minimal complaints from our guests, but a few did complain about a strong mildew smell with their rooms. The resort did accommodate those guests and changed room. I personally had the junior suite superior room on the fourth floor of the resort. No lie, I believe this room has the best view in the entire report. Straight ocean view. The food at the resort was very good. The restaurants are open on a rotating basis during COVID and a reservation is required. If you are considering having a wedding at Iberostar, I would highly recommend it. Syrecka, the wedding coordinator, was AWESOME!!!!! She was very detailed oriented and there throughout the whole day. There was not one detail that she failed to execute. I didn't have to worry about anything. Syrecka truly made our day even more special, and I am forever grateful for her. Now, the only negative incident that occurred at this resort happened to my family on our last day. Somehow, my reservation in Iberostar's system got messed up and the hotel staff was not very accommodating. The system had us checking out one day earlier than expected. Despite me showing them my reservation with my travel dates, our key cards were changed for our room, and housekeeping kept coming to our room attempting to clean for the next arriving guests. It took extremely long for the resort to take accountability for their actions before the situation was rectified. We lost a total of four hours of our day dealing with this incident with the assistance of our travel agent. Despite that, I would still recommend this resort, especially it you plan on having a wedding!!!!

    Enjoyable

    The resort was very clean and organized. The food was delicious and high quality. Pierre was great! He kept a smile on his face while he answered all my questions. l would definitely recommend Iberostar!

    Not the same

    The grounds are immaculate, rooms are great (lost power to one wall and was fixed fast). Reception was helpful and nice. Kind of usual in some places. Customer service rep needs a personality though. There was only a handful of tourist from outside the country. Weekends were a big party for the locals. Most seemed to think themselves entitled. No top shelf alcohol was available except one bar where the host told me it would be an additional $5 per drink. Only the cheap stuff that leaves an after taste. I quit drinking after a few days. Seemed that the supply chain was bad too. Always out of things like patties at the food truck, almond milk at the coffee shop (did not have black tea by the way). Food served to you at the buffet which was fine. Only a couple of restaurants open each night which the concierge did not tell us until we found ourselves without a reservation for a restaurant. Thankfully they let us in. On the plus side for Covid watchers they had really good procedures in place that did not inconvenience the guest too much. On site testing went fast and efficiently. Food was to be as expected with a few really excellent surprises. In summary, facilities were great but not up to the other Iberostar's I have stayed at in the past.
