· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.

    Second Time

    Back again for a second visit to this Hotel, having stayed 10 years ago. Not a lot has changed in 10 years. I mean this in a good way and also a bad way. Room 3453 - felt a bit dated, bathroom could do with updating. My wife’s hairdryer tripped the switches to the TV and or the entire room on a few occasions. But overall a very spacious, clean, well equipped space. One major new change was the 24 hour coffee shop. A quality addition, used it multiple times a day, offers light snacks and pastries too. Another good addition is the Street Food Van on the beach. Tasty snacks. But we missed lunches in the old Snack Shack on the beach front. The food was excellent 10 out of 10. We planned the holiday with family from Canada, who stayed at Waves (the hotel next door) if you stay at Suites you can use all of the facilities at Waves. We felt the main food hall at Waves offered a larger selection at all mealtimes. We tried most of the Restaurants across both hotels. Our favourites were The Greek Restaurant (Suites) and The Japanese Restaurant (Waves) we were lucky to do the later twice. Book early as it gets busy. The newly renovated food hall is impressive. But we felt it was very brightly lit, and most of the evenings that we used it the music too loud. We actually preferred the pre renovation layout and feel. Beautiful beach, lots of beds and shade available in March. A fair bit of Sea Grass here, some channels have been cut, but there is a lot of it. When we visited in 2015, access to the spa was free. No charge if you were using the Sauna, Steam Room or Tubs. It was a nice touch and I used the spa almost every day. 10 years on and it’s a $25 charge. Basic Spa facilities should be included in a Hotel of this price range.

    This Resort Needs Better Staff Training in Hospitality!!!

    Our check out experience with Alwayne at the front desk yesterday morning was absolutely atrocious!!! I am not one to write public reviews, but this has past my limit! This employee has zero manners or any hospitality experience, he should NOT be working at the front reception or in ANY customer-facing capacity!! He argued loudly with us in front of another guest, refused to help us confirm our airport transfer, literally said there is nothing he can do other than to order a taxi for us - mind you, the airport transfer was arranged with a local tour operator that has an onsite desk in the hotel lobby!! We were told the night before our departure by the hotel's own concierge staff that because we were leaving early in the morning (transfer pickup at 6am), we can ask the front desk receptionist in the morning, during our checkout, to call the tour company and just confirm our pickup time. Sounds pretty simple and reasonable right? Much to our surprise, we get to the front desk at 5:30am to check out, there's no one attending. We waited and then asked another employee working at the coffeeshop to help us fetch someone. He came over and banged loudly on the front desk counter and yelled at the back office. Then we hear some shuffling noise between a desk and a chair, a few minutes later, Alwayne appeared, looks like we had interrupted his nap. We asked to check out and brought out our transfer slip for him to help us verify the ride at 6am - that's when he looked up and said he's not with the tour company, he can't help us. Period. The transfer was our problem. I was floored by his comment! I asked for his name and he wrote it down on a piece of paper - he didn't bother wearing his professional name tag. He did not want to make a single phone call to the hotel's own local partner to help us make our international flight. As the arguments unfolded, even the other hotel guest watching in horror said to him, man just make the call for her please. I asked to speak to his manager, and of course he said no one was there, he's the only employee available. One employee could single-handedly destroy the resort's brand, and left us with such a disgusting taste in our mouth - on the morning of our departure!! What a shame! We will not return nor will we recommend Iberostar Rose Hall Suites to anyone we know. How can you staff your hotel reception with employees of this caliber, as a five star resort??!

    Family vacation

    Slightly dated property. Staff makes this resort unforgettable! Everyone so kind and hospitable. So many activities throughout the day. Cat sanctuary is awesome. The lazy river is very relaxing- would be better if there were more floats

    Near perfection!

    Before I write my review, I have to acknowledge some staff that made our visit magical! First off, Tashana. When we had checked in, our reservation didn’t have our two rooms that we booked near each other, which would have meant that our children were nowhere near us. Tashana worked some magic and got us two rooms nearby and they were the most spectacular rooms. Just a dream come true. She set the tone for a magical vacation. Please show her some love. I had hoped to see her on our last day to personally think her, but she wasn’t there that day. Tony Ann on the beach had such a lovely personality and was so uplifting and kind. She made me an amazing mudslide. We loved seeing her each day. Arlene at the Smokehouse was so sweet and exuded such positive energy. Our cleaning crew for our room in 3231 were simply amazing. So sweet, energetic, and our room sparkled. Oraine, the bartender, made us the best drink of our trip. The most perfect old fashioned. The staff at this resort are so hard-working and deserve all of the tips and accolades. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the beach, so relaxing, and the infinity pool with definitely a highlight. The food and the choice of restaurants were spectacular. I loved the Jerk Hut on the waves side for some jerk chicken and cod bread. Those grill workers have talent! I am dreaming about that meal. If you bring your family here for a trip, it will be fun and memorable. The reason I did not give a five star rating is just because of some small inconsistencies. We used the app to find out what was going on at the resort, but some of the things weren’t communicated very well. For instance, there was a martini pop-up bar at different places and times and I enjoyed going to that— it would have been good to know where and when it was next. I could never get a straight answer about where or when it would be. One night there was a make your own cocktail class and when a friend told me about it, I made my way there only to find that the employee said it was over. It was 8:45 which was an odd time to end. I would’ve loved to have known about this class. My young adult kids enjoyed the nightclub, and we gave them money to tip but the bartenders were more aggressive about tips there and it was awkward. The bartender at the lobby bar was wonderful, but many drinks couldn’t be made because ingredients were not available (cinnamon syrup, cucumber, etc.). There were six drinks on the Mixology menu side and only two could be made. Some days by the pool they had a special lunch and I would’ve liked to have known about that so I could have tried it. Of course, none of this was extremely negative and definitely did not put a damper on our trip, but I wanted to explain the four star versus five star rating. Just a heads up that if you’re bringing young adult children in the vendors are a little aggressive with offering pot. My son said he just said, “I already got some from somebody else” and they moved on. At the end of the trip by tipped some of the vendors for being respectful of our space. Definitely bring tips for the hard-working staff. I was pleased to see many people tipping at the coffee shop and the omelette station which I normally don’t see on all inclusive resorts. I know we have tipping fatigue here in America, but these workers work so hard. I just budget tips as part of my vacation stay.

    I love Jamaica

    Very Good service, Syrene, Leroy, Anecia, Rohan, Chad and Asani Was an excellent, very well coming, friendly, etc. The bar in the Beach was very good. The hotel is comfortable and everywhere is near. The entertainment in the hotel is very good. 100% recommended
