Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - Iberostar Hotels & resort is a family oriented environment and thus has implemented the following policy for Spring Breakers reservations. The valid period is March 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age.
- One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behavior.
- In the event that any guest(s) engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s) without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

The only reason that my review is 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a few things so I'll start with those. Our mini bar wasn't refilled on the second day, we had to tell the cosiege and call the front desk before they brought us some soda. This continued to be an issue every day but one for the rest of our stay. Lunch time is extremely limited, there needs to be more options. The AC isn't as cold as I'd like. The pools need to be open later, maybe until 9 or 10, I love evening swims once the sun goes down. Now for the good, the food was really good!! We ate at the Corner sports bar twice, Lucy is an awesome server and the food was amazing!! My husband had the double Texas burger and said that it was the best burger he ever ate!! The nachos and chicken Ceasar salad were also really good!! The Hashiru Teppanyaki restaurant at Beach was amazing! The rooms need some updating but the beds are comfy. We loved seeing all of the wildlife, we saw lots of birds and coatis, a couple raccoons, iguanas and agoatis and a monkey!! The shows were good, especially the Queen show!! I wish we could have enjoyed the beach more but the seaweed was just too much, that's Mother Nature's doing though.
We thoroughly enjoyed a combined family vacation with 13 people. Hospitality was beyond amazing! Every morning at the abundant and delicious breakfast buffet, Romy made us smile and provided superb beverage service. Viky looked eager and happy to make us custom omelets every morning. Gabi, Joshua, Franco, and Humberto energetically worked around the clock to facilitate fun activities for our whole family at the picturesque beach and refreshing pools. Jonathan, our server at the Ranchero Steakhouse, anticipated our every need and made family dinners extra special. The Star Friends entertainment team amazed us every evening with spectacular shows; we loved the costumes, lights, music, and variety. Humberto, Gabi, and Franco engaged us in fun activities with other audience members between the evening shows and Franco personally taught us some pretty cool dance moves! The instructor who led Zumba classes in the gorgeous fitness center at 9am and also on the beach at 3:30 made fitness fun and accessible. The housekeeping staff worked tirelessly and cheerfully to keep the resort extremely clean. Everyday we were delighted to find clean sheets, fresh towels, sparkling drinking glasses, and artistic towel sculptures with fresh flowers on the beds in our rooms, and there was never even a grain of sand on the floors. Iberostar could impress even the pickiest person when it comes to sanitation and cleanliness. The Star Cafe was open for food 24-hours and the resort felt safe to walk around even for a middle-of-the-night snack run. We arrived as guests but feel like we left as family. This is our 3rd time at an Iberostar Resort. Our first 2 experiences were exceptional. We had such a good experience the 1st 2 times we have always highly recommended Iberostar to family, friends and clients. Before I list all that went wrong, I need to compliment Luis who took care of our room, Walter our concierge and all wait staff. They were exceptional. These were our issues: 1. You can not reach Iberostar by phone without a 2.5 hour wait. 2. We received multiple emails to check in online. After a 2.5 hour wait on the phone, I found out you can not check in online but have to wait until you arrive at the resort. 3. It took 1.5 hours to check in. This after a long airline flight will little children who were required to sit patiently for this process. 4. At 10:20PM we received a phone call to our room, we were asleep, demanding that we pay an additional amount for our grandson who turned 13. I explained that I called 2 weeks prior, when I recognized the error and paid then. The woman basically called me a liar and told me they were going to charge my card. I told them if they did I would cancel the payment. I told them I would be down in the morning. This should be noted after I proved payment, they did not bother me again. 5. 3 times they shut down the rooms keys to all 3 of my rooms. We had to go back to reception for room keys. These were not malfunctions, someone turned off our room keys 3 times. 6. Upon arrival they scheduled our COVID test for Sunday morning, less than 24 hours before our departure. 2 of our party came back positive for COVID. We believed these were false negatives due to both parties were fully vaccinated. We requested a 2nd test but the said they could not do this until Tuesday (after the flight) and they wanted payments for the extra days of the rooms. They never checked to see that all 11 people were covered by Insurance that covered the rooms if this happened. In the mean time we made arrangements with the hospital in Plya Del Carmen for a 2nd test. The hotel then called an arranged a 2nd test at 2:00 PM on Sunday and said we would have the results by Midnight. It should be noted that 3 days later and $450 out of pocket these test results are still not available. The tests we had done at the hospital were negative. In the mean time Iberostar quarantined 2 of the 3 rooms, with security guards, even after seeing the negative COVID test results. They did not provide food or water.
Came here to say Christobol is the best!
Christobol at the Lindo a lobby bar was the absolute best and made our trip. He was my favorite employee at the resort and always had a smile and a Magical Drink waiting for us! Resort is great, food pretty good except for at El Tapatio. I will be back, but not until the seaweed is gone.
Great Relaxing Time
My wife and I went to Iberostar Lindo in May and really enjoyed ourselves. This is the second year in a row we have been to this resort and have already booked next year's visit. We also have stayed at Iberostar resorts in Punta Cana because of the quality of service. I can't say enough positive things about the people and the resort at the Lindo and connected properties. The friendliness of everyone that works there is outstanding. Everyone is so helpful from check in to when you leave. Few things we really like: - the plush landscape, you feel like you are in a tropical forest....Beautiful.... not bare like some other resorts. - the entertainment is fantastic!!! We also went to Moon Palace in Mexico, and the entertainment staff at Iberostar Lindo is much better. This includes the energetic Star Friends at the pool!!!!! Nightly shows are awesome. Beach parties after a fire show on the beach - the gym facilities and staff! Wow! Best we have ever seen. We loved Isis! She greeted us each morning at the gym with such enthusiasm. Also loved the morning beach yoga class she led.....thank you for offering that and the many classes!!!!! - the pool at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach, which you can use. 3 swim up bars, many loungers and chairs, and a winding long beautiful setting - the beach...we have gone in January and May. If you go in May you will run into the seaweed that washes up on the shore. However, the workers do their best to clean this up. It is the tide at the time of year. I have seen some reviews knocking the food. Well, we found the food was very good. Maybe if you are a real foodie/snob you might find some things to complain about, but you can't go wrong. Thanks to the Iberostar management and staff for providing such a wonderful relaxing experience.
