Exceptional service and staff!
Great resort and location! Every single staff member I interacted with was amazing. Huge shout out to Nida Sunada and Gana Maheshwaran for making my stay at the resort such a memorable experience! I couldn’t have asked for kinder, attentive more hospitable staff. The resort should recognize and reward these people. Because of them, I would highly recommend the resort to my friends and can't wait to come back. Nida provided great communication regarding the mandatory 10 day quarantine and gave me Nova's name for purchasing food for me and stocking up refrigerator prior to my arrival. Initially, my bedroom was facing a noisy road and I was not able to sleep. When I called the front desk, Gana moved me to a quiet building with a beautiful view, making my work and sleep enjoyable during the lock up. Any issue I reported was resolved immediately and with Aloha spirit. Loved the view from my balcony. The fantastic sandy beach is one of the best on the island. The grounds were lovely and the room was comfortable and had everything you need for the beach lounging and water activities. The mall and gym across the road were very convent. Note that due to COVID, you have to request cleaning service, otherwise, they drop off clean towels and sheets every 3 days. Highly recommend this resort!
We stayed at Castle Resorts in November 2020. We booked 8 nights, but stayed only 3. We did not like the building by the road. The unit was not updated for about 30 yrs. When we arrived, we found the blanket in the closet with the drywall on and hair in the refrigerator. The units are owned with owner's stuff locked in the closet. It works like time share.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! NO SERVICE & NO AC
Waited 3 hours because I arrived after 5pm and they close office for registration. Manager live far away and even though security knows you have reservations, 1st and Last name! They will not make you a key. They even called police on me after waiting 3 hours and gave me trespassing. Yet they took my money and still not refund!
My wife and I stayed here in December through a package we booked through Costco. This resort is great for both couples and families. We had a 1 bedroom but it was like a condo because it had a living room area and a kitchen with all the amenities there if you choose to cook. It also had beach chairs, umbrella, and water sport stuff in one of the closets that we could use! The property is right on Kiahuna and Poipu beach. Poipu Shopping Village is across the street where you can grab a bite to eat (Puka Dog!!!) and do some shopping. Further down the road is The Shops at Kukui‘ula where you have more dining and shopping options. Would definitely stay here again as the price and location are great. They do charge a cleaning fee though when you check out but we knew about it when we booked so don't let it surprise you.
Kiahuna Plantation is FANTASTIC, BEST VALUE
We stayed at Kiahuna Plantation a few weeks ago. It was AWESOME. We watched whales directly from our lanai, only had to walk a few steps to the gorgeous beach. We had pupu's several nights at the Plantation Garden restaurant, VERY good. The location and the beach are the best. The unit we had was fantastic, clean, updated, first floor, end unit and central to the complex. Very easy walk to everything including the athletic center/pool, the ocean, the mall across the street (the street is VERY easy to cross, folks stop as soon as they see you) or the restaurant. I see some folks talk about the cleaning fee. I've rented MANY different condos over the years and they ALL have cleaning fees so I don't understand what people are talking about. The fee is for when YOU move out, not IF you want them to clean during your stay. This was one of the BEST vacations we ever had and can NOT wait until we can go back. If you want a GREAT place to stay that is TRUE Hawaiian Style Kiahuna Plantation is it. There prices are low and can NOT be beat. Thank you Kiahuna Plantation for making our vacation a special one to remember.
