    Fantastic Servicw

Of the hundreds and hundreds of hotels I’ve stayed at across the US and overseas, the service staff here are amongst the best I’ve ever experienced.

    Disappointing, poor cleaning experience

We had a disappointing experience with Sheraton and wish we had stayed at another similarly priced resort down the street. We went with this one because we trust the Sheraton brand but the experience was just mediocre. Positives: The location is nice, the bed was comfortable, and having games available near the pool was a fun way to end an evening (pool, darts, etc.). Disappointing aspects: The room floor was bubbling up due to water damage which also means there could be a mold issue. But the biggest issue was that we had a do not disturb sign on our door, and one day it must have fallen off somehow (?) because the cleaning service came in. They took our dirty towels that were ON THE FLOOR in the bathroom, folded them up, and put them back on the rack as if they were new, clean towels. We ended up using a dirty towel to dry our hands without realizing it. Our luggage somehow moved from the luggage rack to the floor, with our belongings spilled out of it, furniture was moved haphazardly to the point that we had to push the dresser back into the wall so that we didn't bump into it. I went to go find someone to get clean towels (that hadn't been on the floor) and the cleaning staff had their cell phone on top of clean towels on the cart. Overall it was just not what you would expect for a "resort". We went for dinner at a few nearby resorts and the amenities and quality seem much higher than what we got at the Sheraton, and for similar prices. We wouldn't recommend and won't be back. And if you're looking for a luau, we opted for Smith's Family Luau down the street and the experience seemed so much more authentic, with a huge space to explore, compared to the one we walked by at the Sheraton!

    A Great Place To Stay

I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was outstanding and the views top notch. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Location is good with access to several shops etc. Would definitely stay here again.

    Location, location, location!

Location, location, location! Highly recommend the Sheraton Coconut Beach! Great rooms, fabulous pool and ocean views! The beach was gorgeous but not swimmable, which was ok with me because i am more of a walk on the beach, enjoy the ocean views and swim in the pool person. The bike path was great for walking. Wr loved being close to Kapaa with plenty of great food options and an easy drive to explore the whole island; everything was 45 minutes or less.

Very nice accommodations at a great rate!

Hotel is in a great location! Very convenient to the airport, only 15 minutes away! The property is very pretty and clean. It is in walking distance to a little shopping center for a convenience store and souvenir stores. There are restaurants nearby and on the property. Breakfast was included in our package and it was delicious!! The buffet was excellent and the omelet station was terrific or you can order off the menu. The pool was great with lots of umbrellas! A kid side and an adult side and a hot tub. Our room was lovely - partial ocean view which was plenty since we weren’t in the room much! Parking if free which was a huge plus! Laundry is available in the hotel like at a laundromat but get a room on floor 2 or 4 so that all you have to do is walk down to the room. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer in the room and two rooms on those floors. $4 for a load in the washer and $3.50 for a load in the dryer. It worked really well and there is a change machine in the lobby! You can buy detergent or bring your own. There is also a microwave on each floor by the ice machine. The only downside is ALL the places on the island including at the hotel close between 8-9pm so plan accordingly for dinners. Also the pillows in our room were not good - way too soft and not enough.
