Kenny and Donna are the best!!
Loved my stay here! They were under staffed one day I was there and the bartender didn’t have time to take my order. Donna very quickly noticed I wasn’t being assisted-she got my food order and delivered it before anyone else. And closed my tab. The food was delicious! Donna really made sure that I was taken care of and they were very busy. Kenny is another bartender there that is nothing but accommodating and helpful! Beautiful rooms and great staff. Would recommend
We booked a Saturday night at the Sheraton with Bonvoy points and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger ocean front room room on the first floor with a lanai. Pros: + Right on the beach + Able to see the sunrise in the morning over the ocean (from our room in this case.) + On site restaurant is good with reasonable prices (breakfast) + Short drive to Kapaa + Nice firepits by the pool. + Hammocks and bikes available and included as part of "resort" fee. + Plenty of chairs available for the pool Cons: - AC had a musty smell (this is really the only con) - Pool wasn't heated (not a big deal but may affect late evening/early morning swim.)
Expensive hotel, cheap experience
Nothing is better than staying at a nice resort for a week and being required to wear a wrist band the entire time….NOT. Also nothing is better than swimming in the pool and security doing wristband inspections throughout the day…NOT. It is an extremely nice hotel, that needs to find a different way to control the guest experience other than making all your guests feel like they are stealing the entire time.
Nice pool, rooms are large hotel rooms with extremely nice bathrooms, big balconies, ample and convenient parking close to all rooms. They have a bell hop service and real nice restaurants onsite. Less than 500 yards down the road there's more restaurants and a Safeway. Oh, did I mention it was on a beautiful, quiet beach?
Stayed for 6 nights in an ocean view room. This hotel is an excellent value for the island. The hotel itself is not new and definitely has an older feel to it but the pool, grounds, location, and employees more than make up for it. There are more luxurious and, of course, crowded and expensive resorts on the south side of the island but after visiting them for meals I am still very happy with this hotel. A rental car is a must on this island.
