Excellent Service from Caring Staff
Stayed here in January for 4 days while touring Kauai Island. The location was perfectly central on the island, with lots of restaurants within either walking distance or a couple minutes drive. As a jogger, I found a hug paved path that hugs the coastline, just a couple minutes north of this property. The hotel itself is a little old but well maintained and a beautiful pool-area renovation recently. The staff treatment was incredible, particularly the tenured weekday staff. They really go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. I can't thank them enough for a memorable and relaxing stay during a difficult slow period during COVID restrictions. Mahalo!

Beautiful, convenient location
We stayed at two properties during our Kauai visit - the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort surpassed our previous accommodations as well our expectations. The property itself is fresh looking, appeasing and in a great location. There are opportunities to walk to a variety of eateries and shopping. The ocean view whether from the sand, the pool or your room is spectacular. Throughout our stay, our interactions with the staff were wonderful. Each individual was pleasant, courteous and kind exuding a genuine interest in ensuring your time on Kauai was fantastic.

A Mixed Yet Favorable Review
We went late Oct early Nov right when mandatory quarantine was lifted so it was pretty empty. Pool area is really nice and the service was exceptional (5 stars each), our ocean front room upgrade was clean & fine (4 stars since it was ocean front) ... but the rooms, buildings, and rest of the property are only 3 star and still need renovations to catch up. Thanks for the special treatment Mia, Ali, Krystal, Nadia, Donna, and Lissa!

Customer Service is On Point
This was our 3rd trip to Kauai. Each trip we have stayed at different hotels. This hotel by far, exceeded above the rest. The customer service was next level. On the first day my husband, son and I were swimming in the pool. An employee, Ali, approached us to thank us for our stay and let us know that he appreciated us. I work in the hotel industry and travel a lot. I’ve never experienced this type of service before. We chatted with him for a while. He is a true professional in the industry. He sent a bottle of wine and chocolate milk/cookies to our room as it was my husband’s 50th. We also spent some time at the bar next to the pool and got to know Julie. She was fantastic. She really knows the island and gave us great meal and activity suggestions. She would give my son pineapple as a treat and he just LOVED her. She is so genuine and sincere. The Sheraton is lucky to have her. Overall, we would highly suggest this hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious, fantastic pool and hot tub and great location.

Nice view for the day but COVID is cramping the experience
We had to spend more time in our room than most people probably do because my husband didn't get his COVID results from the 'Hawaii Trusted Partner' lab for almost a day after we arrived on island - which means no pool time, no beach time. Thank goodness we did get upgraded so we could at least LOOK at the ocean. Room was quite nice and spacious but no restaurant open - very limited hotel menu and you cannot do room service unless you're quarantined. The pool and bar was open, unlike the previous review. Big suggestion - I know hotels are deferring maid service until check out during COVID, but how about 'if you have trash, put it outside your room in the evening' or ditto towels etc. Since we had to eat in for almost 24 hours, the trash got thick pretty quick. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly with everything. Location was great and close to the Kapaa jog/bike trail.
