Dated
This might just be the original Embassy Suites. The hotel is dated and needs updating. However, it was clean. The beds are small, two full sized in our room. Our toilet had to be fixed. Our room thermostat did not work. Our sliding glass door only opened 4 inches. A very bright car wash is next door. I wouldn’t recommend venturing out alone at night, people hanging in the parking lot that didn’t appear to be hotel guests.

OK STAY
Being tired of being housebound I decided to take some time out In Arizona. The hotel was easy to find with plenty of covered parking. It has a very high ceiling that turned out to be more of a curse when later at night some little children were shouting and screaming in the lobby and it echoed and echoed. The room, a king was well appointed and had some very modern touches that were a nice touch. Room cleaning was not an issue since I was only there for 1 night. The location did not feel very pleasant and I did not venture too far for dinner. There was room service but the menu was not to my liking. Breakfast was really well organized. There was a line to place an order for hot food. The menu was limited but it was minutes to wait for an omelette which was well cooked and tasted great. Other breakfast choices were available and self service. There was distancing and staff reminded people to wear a mask. Not a bad night, the bed was comfortable and the pillows fine.

Very old and dated
We stayed here as loyal Hilton customers but we have never been in a Hilton property that was so old, dated and in need of repair/Renovations. The location is definitely in the middle of town. Our room view was of a car wash that started business at 7 am so all of the noise from the car wash was easily heard. The sink in the room was “in” the bedroom so if you are traveling with others, they all use the sink in your bedroom. The hot water was lukewarm not hot. The room air temperature was unable to be controlled. When it was on it constantly blew cold air- like temps in the 60’s in the room. The only way to control it was to turn it off and wait to warm up then turn it on. Since Covid, there is no breakfast or on site dining, bar. We were given a bag with yogurt, tiny apples, and a muffin. We pay for embassy because of its service and amenities. We feel robbed.

False Advertising
Date of stay - 10/5/20. This hotel is a dump in a seedy neighborhood which did not look or feel very safe. Called from PHX to get a shuttle pick-up and informed that shuttle has been suspended. Took a cab the cost of which was reimbursed by hotel. Return to the airport next day was by private conveyance paid by hotel. They do have a shuttle bus which was parked. Room was beat-up and dingy. Wallpaper seams were peeling. Metal fixtures in bathroom were rusted and corroded. Sink was located in bedroom area - not in bathroom. Sink did not drain. There was no food available except vending machines. Breakfast and happy hour were suspended although these are still listed as hotel "amenities." There are no restaurants near-by. Front-desk clerks were personable and helpful. Thanks ladies! This is a very old hotel badly in need of renovation. Very few staff were present. Management is apparently trying to operate this property on the cheap using the virus as a cover. Previous night stayed at a Marriott which had full food and beverage service with a multitude of staff for service and sanitizing.

Katie the MOD was fantastic
Stayed on a long road trip from New Orleans to Los Angeles, and Katie provided exceptional customer service at check in, accommodating my requests with a welcoming smile. Great job, will definitely return!
